    What would be the point??? Ferrets have been domesticated for years to get them were they are today, a wild polecat, Mink stoat are out and out killers, why would you want to add that to a line of ferrets? The whole idea of ferreting is to bolt the rabbits not spend all day digging out dead rabbits.

    Very windy, could hardly hear the knocker box at times, rabbits reluctant to bolt too resulting in a good few digs

    This is the last one for this year, and what a windy one it was, so bad I had trouble hearing the knocker box, add to that the bunnies were reluctant to bolt resulting in a good half dozen or so digs, luckily nothing deeper that a few feet, things started off slow, bolting 1s and 2s then onto a good sized Warren for 8, picking the longnets up and getting it back into the basket was a battle and a half not to mention the dead heather it collected, I mush have all the dead heather in the Peak District in my nets, a rabbit bolted under the net and tried to make is escape only for Nell to put a st

    Too the chance to drop the Xmas bottles and hamper off with the keeper today so I took the youngster with me, killing two birds with one stone, as we pulled into the yard he had already got our quad bike our and trailer, his young son took us to our chosen spot for today, abit of a gyll and thick bracken beds, that’s absolute terreable for preventing the longnets sitting right, then picking up every bit of dead bracken on the way. We started slowly bolting 1s&2s then a few 4s 5s and a final 6, we ended on 19 much to the youngsters annoyance, he wanted to beat his 23 from his debut outing b
