I have a couple that send an alert when triggered then you watch the footage in real-time,they come in useful as you can watch and equally as important hear what’s happening in front of the camera.

Go with what stav has put up,I have used budget models I got by the box from china for £20’ish quid a unit to all singing all dancing solar models that were selling in the UK for £500 quid’ish.Get a cheapie,you won’t feel the sting if it goes AWOL.
