  2. I tried it as a kid, there were loads of partridge around, me and a mate went halfies on a drag net, I think the firm was youngs of Misterton, we bought one from their catalogue, inspired by tales of mini oil-lamps clipped onto pointers collars and victorian ne'er do wells dragging fields to feed their dozen kids, anyway romanticism aside we caught nowt and bought an old pedretti .410 to shoot the birds on the lamp, nowadays it would be easier with an air rifle and a thermal.

  11. I think your right, my first ever project I didn't have Internet,it hadn't been invented back then, I had a book, very few books back then, but I had one, it was Ed rosenthal, and a rented flat. No filter, extraction, hydro, just seeds, soil and HPS, I managed OK more by good fortune than skill, made loads of f**k-ups since then, flooded places through blocked systems, pumps failing, lights going off, timers failing, you name it I f****d it up, nowadays it's second nature but it was more fun back then ? its all a learning curve.
  12. The shadow of violence..... Crime drama, rural ireland 7/10 I would have given it 8 but for the ending, enjoyed the film ??

  20. To be honest mate, books can only teach you so much, once you have the basics (and that book you've posted up looks good enough) your good to go, experience and the plants themselves teach you far more than a book ever will, simplify everything then less can go wrong, good luck with your project ??
