No, the one I was shown was a pipe about 18 inches long with the snare attachment and spring, directly east of here is Maine where its a common method of black bear capture, they use ouell ursus and M15's, stick a trail cam up that triggers their phone when a bear is caught so they can get to the site ASAP.

I think there's a film on his life story in the pipeline,his two sons are both serving life sentences for different murders, must have been a brutal home to grow up in.

The footage is on YouTube,crazy that someone's first reaction is to film and give commentary, though in fairness the victim is beyond help at that stage, sad ending to a swim though.
