I had dog there, and cat, bat, rat, all sorts of shit ???? but the beaches are world class, palawan has been "Discovered" by the insta crowd so it's not as raw as it was 30 years back, but still nowhere as near commercialised as LOS, there's beaches that are pristine down south of Mindanao ?

Understatement ? the food is shit to be honest, worst in SEA, that's why there's so few philippine restaurants in the UK, apart from jollibee ?

Trat, nice long beach, you can get a boat to koh Chang (nice national park) and koh mak islands.Or Chiang Mai, no beaches, but jungle treks, there are bars and restaurants there, loads of stuff to do, my kids loved it but they are boys so more interested in elephants, zip lining and stuff.If I wanted something really different, still with a few bars but nowhere near as "Commercialised" as LOS, BUT the beaches are world class, I mean superb, I would go to palawan in the Philippines, still in the region, food isn't as good though but everyone speaks English.

Thailand, she can lie on some superb beaches, shop till she drops, do a cookery course, get a massage every day, manicure, pedicure, the works, all cheaply, you can fish till your arms ache ? Florida, relaxation central, I love it, she can toast under the sun to her hearts content, you can do far more interesting stuff ?
