  1. Go back later with a lamp, probably a totally different story! When I first started in the cemetery and paddock, they were everywhere during the day. After months of work they only came out at night. Only the occasional kit dares venture out during the day now. Tony
  2. Had a few like that myself, slightly more awkward on a night though, just gotta remember to place POI slightly above the two reflections on a full on head. Nice shot Tony
  3. Cheers Mike, Looks a nice little lot you have there Keep you out of mischief for a while Tony
  4. Why thank you oh great Dark one Would that be the HeavyWeight 100 KT (pronounced HW100 Stout Stick) ? I'm not letting it get me down, but by feck; I'm about to put more heavy guns on the NHS than the entire Iowa and Montana class battleships put together Tony
  5. Aitch lives on a narrowboat (lucky man) Matt is certainly a natural using pistols with open sight's I was suprised to take Gold in Spring, PCP, and SSP classes But I was REALLY gobsmacked that Matt took Gold in the Co2 especially with the pistol he did it with (Umarex) Beretta 92FS, I've had one of these for over a year now and I've still not managed to score anywhere close to Matts score If he puts his natural ability to use with a rifle, he will really excell
  6. Indeed he is He and Terry saved my life a year or so back, long story and I won't go into details, have you met Aitch (His old man) also a really nice guy, and his son Matt? (he's the one that denied me a clean sweep of four gold's in pistol shooting comp in 2008! Lil sod's a natural shooter and that was the 1st time he had picked up a pistol). Tony
  7. Need to talk? I've been there, I pop back there now and again unfortunately. PM me if you do Kev Tony
  8. Thanks Gent's, I've already complained that there seems to be a "It's up to the force's descretion" policy after a well known gunsmith told me he is often sent 'slightly over power' rifles to detune It seems that it's up to the person in charge of the FA department at the time and this woman in Hull; she say say "NOPE, Not gonna happen". It was a freaking solicitor that told me to accept the caution and that he had arranged with the SGT that I could apply for the FAC in order to get my Ultra back. Well now I intend to get the Ultra back, it was a xmas gift, from a couple of people I lov
  9. Fetch me back some nice Bulgarian pussy will yah, I'll collect at the meet Enjoy the tour buddy, see you in a few weeks Oh and Daz hopes you will stay sobre, I'll say have a hell of a lot, if your still standing at the end of the night dress or no dress, you aint had enough Tony
  10. Hold the front brass in a vice; wrap it carefully soas not to scratch the metal like I did Then use a spanner, wrench or spanner to remove the nipple unit. Tony
  11. I had wondered Very good advice there Sir They gave me all my guns back and the X-bow (even though they didn't take the prod with em *fuckwit icon here* I've already tried that route Lewis The second they flagged it at 13.04 ft/lbs that was it's fate sealed even if it was reduced by a smith (I even tried getting BSA to redo it) down to 0.5 ft/lb I would still need the FAC to have it in my possession. I can sell it to someone who has a slot on their ticket but who really wants a FAC-Air that does less than 1.50 ft/lbs over the legal limit.
  12. Mike yep the .357-6 is a superb little pistol, very capable of pellet on pellet out to 10M I've won comps with that Yes BBS is run by JSR it has a lot of mods and admin, Terry Doe being the top dog and Delta1 (Mod) is a personal friend of mine. Ultimately though JSR get the final say as to whats allowed, whats not and no hunting pix period. Tony
  13. Yep, easy to replace but as Chris says, empty the thing first once it gets down to 50 to 70 bar the gun will vent the rest of the air with either a big loud shssssss sound or a gentle 'Sigh'. I went to my local PirTek outlet and the valve was pennies compared to the gunshop wanted to charge me Tony
  14. Unfortunately, even if you do ring them and a triple nine call is made, the police are duty bound to turn up, even if they know it's you And the first unit to be sent will be an ARU I was lucky last time the police showed up, the non-ARU Officer turned up first and called off the guns. She could have stayed around the corner and let the Guns go in first. So while it can be a good idea, its not a foolproof prevention against the armed officers. If the ARU do turn up, they will be shouting orders at you Listen to them, make it clear that you are putting the gun down, pointing awa
  15. Thanks guy's for your kind comments. For those of you that don't know me, I had a breakdown after major surgery, loosing my job (Close Protection that I loved dearly) and my sister dying everything happened within a very short time span this led to a breakdown of my 20+ years of marriage and left me homeless for a while. The CMHT is the Community Mental Health Team, they offered guidance, monitoring and support in my recovery period until they felt I no longer required it. What got my back up most of all is that the people who have dealt with me never felt threatened by the presance of m
  16. That explains the 2 inch group theory then Hi Tron, I seriously hope this piece of sh!te gets what he is due. I was once scammed online, but eventually got my money back and it was only less than £20, It hurt at the time as I was not far off totally broke at the time (nowt changes on that score I guess!) What was it that the scumbag was selling/offering in order to scam your lad? I may have an idea that may help (used it after a friend of mine got scammed on the sale of a pistol and we hounded the tw@t until we got his money back ) I hate the fooking crettins that do this
  17. Hi guy's its been a while since I have started a thread, been keeping myself to myself and pointing people in the right direction and helping out those who have asked me for help and guidance. Some of you know what I've been through the last 3 or 4 years and because of those things especially this year and last I've not really had the opportunity to get much hunting done. Three weeks ago I went out with another forum member and we did some target work and such but nothing in the way of hunting apart from a bit of stalking and trying some ranging in both daylight and dusk. This particul

  21. Dont envy us The Paddock I have has a road on three sides and has a lot of streetlights. Both Woodworm and I were belly crawling through mud and horse pucky last friday, his wife wouldn't have been too chuffed getting into her car on Saturday morning to go shopping Tony
  22. There are a few places that will ship internationally, as long as it's within the EU. I have sent air guns (pistols) abroad before and have had them held in customs over here until they have been proven legal. As Davy mentions (and I think we have spoken before about it?) you will need an FAC in Both Northen Ireland and Eire Tony
  23. When you do get the leads and edit the footage, simply put on a statement at the front of the clip that you had no intention of trying to shoot them, you were just filming them I for one would love to see them crosshairs or not, I've only seen one badger in real life so far. I didn't get chance to observe it properly though as I was doing sixty MPH on my hog at the time.
