She's a cracking bitch mate exactly my type.My mate who owns her finds her too defensive for his liking thats why hes using the black dog on her.Hes hoping a dog bred the way he is will make the pups more forward going and drivey.

Im sure I read somewhere that hes not a lot shorter than Fury(maybe 6.5")so im guessing even if hes relatively slender hes still a fair lump.

Artifical earth's - how to make them better
downsouth replied to Henryrussel5591's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Like rob said I think its more down to luck.I know a couple of straight pipes running between ditches on a golf coarse that regularly hold foxes also known a couple of short pipes under gateways where they'd quite often lay.Ive also known lads spend days digging intricate artificials with multiple entrances and sleeping areas that have never held a thing. -
They were mostly show dogs 25years ago

If your concrete is laid correctly and there is plenty of ventilation you dont need much fall and it should still dry out in no time.Shouldn't matter if your drains are at the front or back,99%of the water should go straight away just leaving the surface damp which will all dry evenly. If you end up with any part laying wetter than others then the concrete has been layed poorly.

Definitely Catahula in certain lines of AB

Did any of the older lads ever see any of the Enbeck bred lakies work.Few lads round my way had them when i very first showed an interest in terriers as a kid but even then i realised the ones id seen were shit.

Opinions on the Norfolk lurcher?
downsouth replied to Daisy the destroyer's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Thats a lie.I only took drugs back then. -
But you'd still have a spare hand to twist its balls or stick your finger up it arse.Apparently that makes them let go.

So youve come to the conclusion that they were/are all shit from seeing one dog that you dont actually know for definite if it was a Norfolk from Burrel or Mick Douglas lines -

The 4 or 5 of them i saw 20 years ago all looked exactly the same as that. -
Same as everything mate.ABs went downhill as soon as they became popular.Quality bandogs are being far outnumbered by shitty scatterbred mutts now.The best thing is when they're worth f**k all so only the genuine enthusiasts stick with them.

Hes not going to be able to stop her getting any heavier if shes only 6months old.Hip,elbow and patella problems comes more from poor breeding rather than just size/weght.There have been quite a few very large Boerboels imported with excellent hip/elbow scores.Id sooner have a pup from these than much smaller/lighter parents that havn't been x-rayed and scored.

Mick was known as the marshman not the fenman as he lived out in the middle of the marshes in Norfolk.I had a little bitch about 20years ago bred out of a pals 2 Norfolk type lurchers bred down from stuff he'd had from Mick over the years.A really super intelligent biddable little thing that would have been perfect for someone that wanted a rabbiting, ferreting, mooching dog.Met Mick plenty of times as he used to come down and stay on his boat with his dogs not far from me.Also had a few days up on his marsh coursing and he'd always come out whatever the weather dressed in denim dungarees, shirt -
Trying to find a decent border is like trying to find a needle in a haystack and trying to find a decent stafford is nigh on impossible so i wouldnt fancy your chances of finding one of each worth putting together.

Great if you want to go pack hunting for Caribou.

Makes you wonder what sort of Idiots feel the need to own wolf crosses.

The B&O Beolab 1 speakers that i have are active speakers meaning that the have an amp built into each speaker so i just used a Rotel pre amp to control the volume and decide what was running into them.ie CD,tuner etc.All my hifi stuff has been in the loft about 5years since my daughter started toddling about.Should cash most of it really as ive got a little Bose system that sounds decent enough for the amount i actually get time to listen to it these days and it takes up no room and doesnt need loads of cables and interconnects running everywhere.Your best bet is to look at the reviews i

Bang on about the B&O's and I own a pair that i paid £4800 for 12years back when i had money to waste.Mission and kef are both decent and make stuff to match whatever your budget.JBL are decent if you want good build quality and something that packs a punch.
