    You obvoiusly dont like anything with bull blood and for some reason seem to think they're all mindless idiots.I have a bitch here with plenty of bull blood in her.Id be willing to go for a walk with you and one of your dogs and bet money that shes more obedient than yours.Safer around all livestock from Cats'chickens,sheep,cattle,horses.More biddabe around people and basically more balanced and steady in any situation youd like to choose.

    One of my neighbours ran the met police dog department and breeding programme for over 30years and is still regarded as one of the top authorities in German shepherd circles.Told me they tried Malis and they were too hypo for for police work as they spend most of the day in the back of a vehicle and will burn themselves out spinning around in circles,barking at every little sound.Same with Eastern European shepherds.

    The met police over here dont use mali's either because theyre too much for what the average police dog is expected to do.I dont think a lot of people realise what a bulldog can be trained to do in the right hands.Theres a guy in the state(Tom Brody)Who was successfully putting Schutzhund 3 titles on pitbulls and other bull breeds untill the Shepherd/mali owners spat their dummies out because he was beating them at their own game so tried getting him shut out by making schutzhund for European breeds only.

    How do you know shed do as much as what them bull/herders can do if youve never done anything with her.A lot of the lads that are breeding/keeping/competing with the bull/herders have done the same with mali's and dutch herders already.Im sure if the purebreds for want of a better word were better theyd have stuck with or gone back to them

    French mastiffs with the correct attitude are very few and far between though although the best working bandog Ive ever seen was a dog Ive posted pics of on here before who was ddb x bulldog and was kept as a pet till my mate got him at 4years old and went on to come 2nd in the gold class at night trials with next to no training unde some german judges who proper put dogs through their paces

    I really like the boerboel but Im at a stage in my life now that when my old bandog bitch goes I dont think Ill bother getting another big dog if I get another dog at all.

    No never had any experience with anything with English Mastiff.Most people who want a traditional bandog type tend to use Neopolitan as its a lot easier to find them with the correct attitude.

    Most traditional type bandogs with a heavy mastiff base like the one I have tend to be teritorial/defence driven.With working trials being the in thing it doesnt really suit a laid back defensive type dog so they all way prey driven animals as thats what will win trials and look exciting on social media in turn getting likes and selling pups.
