  1. Never produced a single thing that was any good though.Dog was decent enough apparently but was bred from muliple generations of untested animals all bred at under 18months old
  2. Sorry mate I meant I like the bull/herders.I wouldnt want anything with presa close up in it.And theres plenty of idiots already getting their hands on them as unfortunately the protection dog game has been taken over by peddlers churning out multiple litters a year to be sold to anyone with money in their pocket.
  3. Im sure Scott will love you putting his name out on here.
  4. Tbh I quite like them.Havent spent time around any apart from at training venues but Id imagine the bulldog blood probably tones down a bit of that hyperness that you get with the pure malis.Every straight bulldog Ive ever owned has been super chilled around the home.
  5. Yeah mali x bull. One of the fellas who I used to train with and whos producing a lot of good dogs started by breeding a mal to a pressa. He kept a male and bred that onto 3 diffent bulldogs and kept stuff back. They are now crossing them back onto malis and back to mali/presa/bulls and is getting 2 distinct types. One throws more to the bull and the other type looks more like a very powerful herder.
  6. Loads of lads started breeding them the last 5 or 6 years
  7. F**k that.Too technical for a thick groundworker/builder like me.
  8. Tbh mate were only travelling that far from Kent because its for a Garden building company from Yorkshire that give us loads of work in the south East. Also that sounds like a job that will need larger screws that go in with a ride on machine. The ones we put in are only 90mm circumference and go upto 1.75m long and go in with a hand held machine.More for sitting Timber framed buildings or decked areas etc on.Thanks anyway though.
  9. Can anyone on here tell me what the ground is like in the Paignton area in Devon?Travelling down there tomorrow to spend a couple of days doing ground screws.Trying to get half an idea what length screws to take.
  10. Like up and at em hare coursing but in the sky
  11. I know the fella who took me out to watch it used to fly and feed his one twice a day to manage its weight as it was a matter of a couple of gramms between it too heavy to hunt or come back and too light that it would drop dead. And at the time I thought my Gos was a temperamental c**t
  12. I got to see pure merlins fly skylarks a few years back. That was something to watch and took some real skill, knowledge and dedication by the men that were flying them.

    Hobbies

I was thinking exactly the same thing.Surely 1 egg from each species should be enough shouldnt it?
  14. That aint the end of the world then.Loads of diesel motors will need a clutch and possibly a duel mass by then. Some before
  15. How many miles it done?
  16. Always been a big Jamaican SKA and Reggae fan mate and first bought the Exodus album when I was about 12.I Thats why I was disappointed that the film was so shit

    Advice

Im sure one set will be quite enough for you to look suitably odd
  18. I remember chatting to a fella from London who was busy with the bulldogs back in the 80s.He said when they were young lads starting out and the bulldogs were quite new over here they bred 3 litters by putting a well bred bulldog on different EBT bitches and every litter produced maneaters
  19. Own 2 back in the early 90s a miniature and a standard and both were thick as shit and not quite wired up right. The standard had a litter and decided it would rather eat them than feed them.Ive heard of a few others that did the same
  20. Takes a bit more brains and a lot more dedication to train and fly a bird properly. Most of the wallys you see buying and selling lurchers and chucking them out of motors would more than likely loose a bird the first time they tried to fly it thats if they didnt kill it trying to get it to the correct weight
  21. Id much rather see a decent Gos or even a Spa fly than one of them big lopey things. And couldnt think of anything worse than carrying one of them around all day to see it put in a half arsed attemp to kill a hare when you could see a gos or even a harris hawk put in a much better and exciting effort at a 1/3 of the size
  22. Jesus thats pricey.Quality light hash 325 on the plate and 425 for proper heavy,Sit you on your arse for a couple of hours soft black down here.Again all the older smokers who dont want the weed love it.
  23. I can only think of one person who seems to be regularly producing nice examples. And Im only going by the ones Ive seen in the flesh,Im sure he may have produced plenty of s**t ones too.
