I have some cracking photos going back to victorian times of my ancestors, a relation did our family tree back to 1652, very interesting showing to grandkids. Some census data showing they were all farm hands, labourers and Hackney carridgers. I love going through it all.

And even over a hundred years ago you'd get folk acting up as soon as the camera comes out ? they were a curio then though, see them watching the bloke cranking the handle. The tech now to colourise, upscale and stabalise is impressive. I watched that first world war one last year, poignant to say the least. ??

Don't want to ruin the good vibe, but not sure what whales they mean, we have orca here and a guy has been doing a thriving business for years doing whale watching tours. The world's biggest population of humpback whale are in the Atlantic ?

The bars I had in Nederlands during the 80's we stocked a "Satan" and "Lucifer" ale 13% and 11% respectivly, both were black like treacle and was bloody lovely. I personaly drink 9%+ so I don't have to keep going for a piss - same effect ?

Is there a thing as a "covid passport" ? Not in the UK I have heard of? When we goto south America etc we have to have yellow fever, mine has never been checked yet, in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Cuba (did I mention how ace Cuba is?) Surinam, carribean etc. We choose to have mallaria typhoid rabies etc How are they going to enforce this, there are actually no passports issued yet for covid???

Me and the wife have had both jabs, but in Scotland there are no plans for covid passports! I conclude this maybe another spin for GP's to earn money, infact anybody who issues it to earn money?

I watch all the channels if I so wish and haven't had a TV license in over twenty years. No contact no contract, they have no means of proving anything unless you admit it and sign the form! Everytime they came to my door I just said no thanks an shut it, I can't remember the last time they came its that long ago, 10+ years, they must have given up and gone after a softer touch. Them automated messages, have you pressing endless selections of numbers, then asks you to say in a few words why your calling, "to speak to someone" isn't a valid reason so after 20 mins of going all round the houses, it says "thank you for calling" an bloody hangs up..... Grrrrr

Should train some of our goats up to be pack goats ? our sheep are too stupid, all on keeping thier feet the right way up. They used to use well trained ponies out on the bog to bring beast back, they'd roll over bog so as not to sink, days long gone! Straps, long ropes and a winch on the quad helps, I'll be buggered doing twenty + miles out there now ?

Ah mate, it could be any number of things, if it's showing in device manager right click it and delete driver, then right click anywhere and detect changes, it will refresh the drivers! I trust you have tried different discs in it? I have to sleep now afore the wife's snoring decends into that refrigeration truck pitch or ill be buggered at 4am
