  1. Sorry only just read this topic, Lurchermania were just lamping rabbits the vid of the hare and foxes were the Harelaw lads same cameraman Squeak Y.I.S Leeview went under the name of Danger Zone Y.I.S Leeview
  2. Whoa I quoted about your dislike of greyhound coursing men attitude to lurcher lads No the man and his son dont need a license to go ferreting with a lurcher. So what did the Garda do? I seen topics on here but it was shooting syndicates that were up in arms Y.I.S Leeview
  3. the pegs on the island were always match winners at Asenby Y.I.S Leeview
  4. Fair comment. However, i have seen with my own eyes, greyhound coursing men, releasing hares, where they originally did not come from. Now, this was a few years ago, it must of got more stricter now. ? One thing i dont like about a lot of greyhound coursing men, is their attitude towards lurcher lads, that even have permissiom to hunt on the land. Smashing up cars and vans ect, bullly boy tactics that does them no favours!! No need for it... Their was a incident lasy year. not far from me, where a man and his young son were ferreting with a lurcher, they had permission and were just after
  5. Nicely summed up there Neil, beat me to the answer for saluki246. as I understand it releasing hares was a numbers thing ie if they netted 40 they had to release 40 back on the land. Liam Burke was an Irish politician and coursing supporter attending Old Yorks VCork County Open over here as well as well as the Waterloo Cup. Y.I.S Leeview
  6. and at the end of the seaon realised back into the wildY.I.S Leeview Were you their when the hares were released back into the wild? NO it was too dark Y.I.S Leeview
  7. Chasing its heart out for nothing! in the early 90's under pressure the Irish Govt. tried to ban hare coursing and the Irish Coursing Club offered to muzzle the dogs in semi's and finals and thats how it carries on today but all dogs are muzzled when coursing in Eire,If the ICC had not offered this they knew they would of lost coursing so the choice was muzzle or lose it. A change of Govt. in Eire and lobbying (see my previous post) put the greyhound industry in a strong and healthy position Y.I.S Leeview
  8. Coursing in Eire wether park or Open will be with us for a very long time because their Govt. realise the importance of the greyhound breeding in Eire and subsidise it due to money brought in by the exporting side of it. Captive hares are born in the wild netted and contained in paddocks(like the size of the inside of a horse racing track)looked after by hare keepers, vet checked and treated accordingly, exercised up the field so they know where the sough is back into the paddock and at the end of the seaon realised back into the wild Y.I.S Leeview

  10. Wow .75mm or thousands of an inch? and 50kg breaking strain that equates to lifting a sack of coal or 2sacks of potatoes. 24mm =1" thats 24 turns around a wooden ruler to an inch .75 would give 32 turns to the inch thats very fine for longnets let alone a fox net. Y.I.S Leeview

  13. depends on the thickness, good for longnets and purse nets but too fine for fox nets in the popular threads. Y.I.S Leeview

    Russel Brand

Brand was way out of order saying Farage attacks the disabled; Love him or loathe him, I've never heard him say ANVTHING about the disabled. The bloke with the walking stick didnt let him get away with it though, Brand shit himself and went very quiet after that !! the bloke with the walking stick shut brand up when he asked "well if you can do any better why dont you stand for parliament?" brands attacks on Farage were personal not political IMHO. it is harrassment, so when you eventually get your dogs back and fancy having a mooch on this permission there going to be all over you like a rash IMHO These same wo detained some lads in the south of the county who claimed to have permission,so this was checked out and confirmed by the landowner and the officer replied "well while ever your letting people like these come on your land dont bother ringing us when stuff goes missing" which is a threat. He pays council tax which covers the police force, and its up to the landowner who he allows on his land not them Y.I.S Leeview
  25. Likewise netrigger I just sent 9 fox nets over to a lad in Waterford, took the parcel to the post office(parcel size of a shoebox 3.2kg) first class £43.50 or second class NO signature or tracking £30.85 I brought them back home and assigned them to UPS through interparcel.com this was Friday afternoon(they dont deliver weekend) they were signed for Tuesday afternoon. I use interparcel.com all the time for my boxes and wheels, it comes out at £7.92 (up to 10kg)next day delivery anywhere in the mainland. If they collect from myself its slightly dearer but I drop it off at a local shop/collectio
