Are the Country Landowners Association actually a sporting group? as for the catering prices, they are expensive due to the costs involved per stand/bar and at the end of the weekend they have to pay 10% of their takings to the organisers hence the hiked up prices to cover their costs. I suppose if nobody ate or drank while they were at the show they might have to rethink the pricing structure Y.I.S Leeview -

Your inbox is full again Jack Ivester_LloydY.I.S Leeview I had the pleasure of hunting with jack ivester Lloyd as his guest terrier man on a number of occasions,we were snowed in one time when it was called off,he did not like lurcher and terrier men,I had some great rows with him,his thoughts were that all foxes were for hunting and any other way was a waste was that with his bobbery pack WC? Totally agree with you Neil. However, what did annoy myself was that all the things Bert did for him as to the regards of Drabbles Badger project, then Drabble shunned Bert at a country fair because he didn't want to be seen with a terrier man who had previously got him the Badgers for his Nature reserve. What an hypocrite! Also by Drabbles own admission, he, himself played a major part in the down fall of otter hunting and the otter hunting fraternity. What was Drabble's major part in the downfall of otter hunting? Otter hunting ceased several years (by the MOOH) before it was banned -

Trench, I get what you're saying and agree like I said, but I've said before that to me it's always been 'hunting' not 'sport,' and the sooner 'sport' is dropped from hunting of any sort, the better. Not looking for an argument, but to me the word 'sport' shouldn't be used in conjunction with hunting. And as gaz said, it offends alot of people, and that's really the point I was making. By dropping that one word I think we'd get more people on our side OK I too refer to what I follow as field sports and cant find anything wrong with that, its fits what I(and many others follow) do in fiel

Prior to Tony Banks taking the ban Hunting Bill over, the bill was introduced by Michael Foster(who lost his seat in an election )who just happened to be a keen match fisherman that did nt like hunting Y.I.S Leeview

IMHO with this repeal I cant see it going through the rights or wrong of hunting, it will be a case of is this law as it is enforceable? plain and simple. QT last when the panel were introduced on the screen it told you their name and status when it got to brian may it just said queen at least I think thats what it said LOL Y.I.S Leeview

I proposed a comitee at the begining of this topic see what the response has been. Do you think schools will participate in ferreting lectures with pets corner in the classroom you will find most people think meat comes fro Tesco that is reality. Well next month will be our(my partner and myself)4th year having a stand at our local county show featuring myself knitting nets and herself introducing the ferrets to hoards of school children and their teachers, she tells them straight what we keep them for, feed them on and the kids are encouraged to hold the ferrets(supervised) its an exhausti

Why IYO is this law unenforceable? Go back to when this bill was being pushed through to get the ban, if you have the time look up the Burns Report into Hunting and read that, its an epic paid for by the labour party(close to £8million it cost) now in short it found banning hunting would not save any said quarry that the ban was supposed to,making it illegal was pointless and yes you've guessed it unenforceable but labour pressed on regardless and had to rely on a little known act last used in wartime Britain to get this bill through. The works already been done for the Govt to appeal the

This ban affects England Scotland Ireland and Wales hunting lads live in all parts, this divide and vote means f/a Europe also have a ban so it needs to be dealt with now it is repeal of a law that the law says is not enforceable because of the way it was legislated and drawn up so it needs REPEALING not renegotiating As for the antis and lacs in London some of the hunters could do with learning from them, the appathy led to a ban in the first place as most of the lads who were involved preban will tell you. Hunting with dogs was banned in Scotland before it was banned here so the repeal

correct cocker, basically the truth is when/if this law is repealed hunting will be returned to how it operated before this law was imposed on us. amendments and licensing can only be introduced by another act going before parliament to be voted on in the future not at the same time as reinstating the previous law. I listened to the fight on my way to work Sunday morning, the bit about Manny's actions when he had Floyd on the ropes(several times) was explained as "Roache warned him that Floyd was dangerous when on the ropes so get in hit him and get out" imho Manny was only doing half a job in case he got hit by a big punch Y.I.s Leeview
