  1. Why are you getting rid of one if you havnt got time, then getting another pup??
  2. I just put a topic up saying the same. I gutted some rabbits from last night and out of 25 rabbits, 7 were carrying young. I best be getting my spade oiled!! Lol. Looks like we will be plenty of lay ups this side of Xmas.
  3. Whilst paunching last nights catch I found several to be carrying young. That might bugger the ferreting up for a bit. Has any one else found many like this. I know you get the odd one but out of 25 rabbits 7 were carrying young.
  4. Happy birthday Ye Olde Basturd!!
  5. They said rampages training camp cost 1 million dollars!! Must be Mega money flying About now! Hopefully it will all lead up to a mega fight between jones and silva..... And not gsp n silva.
  6. Makes me sweat just looking at the picture, lol. Well done lads.
  7. My local vets won't jab till 12 weeks old. Don't know why but when you get a pup at 8 weeks old it seems a long time before you can take them out! The 2nd jab is 2 weeks later.,
  8. Took my pup ferreting for the first time 2 weeks ago......first rabbit went under a barb wire fence..... My pup went through it!! Still out of action now. Gutted.
  9. I had a 1/4 bull greyhound bitch, but was a bit too head strong. Cost me a fourtune in vets bills over the years. She looked a right mess by the time she was 5 as her feet and skin/coat couldn't handle her style of running. Plus she was too muscle bound which effected her stamina. On the plus side though she was great fun and caught me plenty of game.
  10. I wouldn't take the dogs when you go ask, it can be a bit much. Ask for ferreting the rabbits and go from there. You can either knock on his door or try catch him in his field. In the past I've even wrote to them, especially the big farms as they offen don't live near the fields in question, so I write to the site office. All of these have worked in the past. Good luck.
  11. What's the brand/ full name ?? Is it just called wound spray and where is the best place to get it from? Cheers
  12. Lol.... Can I bring my dog!!
  13. Drop the light down from the ceiling and see if any wires are loose, other than that you'll need a sparky to look at it. Cheers
  14. I'm a sparky and it could be anything. Impossible to say without a test meter. Could be faulty mcb, faulty switch, faulty light, or even a loose conection on the live or neutral.
  15. Just to add, a head but is different to a clash of heads......and that was defiantly a nut. If mayweather meets pac man then I'll be going for sure!! Fingers crossed it happens next year.
  16. Fair play to mayweather....sportsmanship went out of the window after the 2nd head but. That will teach him to play games with the best in the world. In fact the more I watch the head but the more I think he should be banned.
  17. That's the 3rd one this year and all in Manchester!! I'm sure this guy will get off to like both the others, but they have to arrest him till they sort out the facts.
  18. I bred a saluki/bull/grey bitch but she sadly got killed during her first working season. She was a great worker though taking all game. She could find her own game and had plenty of speed and stamina. There is a picture of her in darcys coursing book, labled "Pete's Jess". I would def have another one bred the same.
  19. My dog had stitches yesterday, £112. So I came home and had a look on the net for pet insurance. Tesco came up £9 a month with £60 excess. I suppose this way the most you will pay is £60 for each injury. About 3/4 years ago my old dog had a £380 bill. I wish he had been insured!
  20. I got my old dog of him when he was a pup. How he was bred could be anyone's guess but what a dog he had been. Carnt fault Len for breeding this one. Though my mate had a dog off him once which not so good.
  21. I would go for a border terrier. Good little hunters and nice around the house. The black terriers I've seen would have too high prey drive to make decent pets. Also I would pick a rough coated dog as they don't show the muzzle scars as much, which might be handy if it's a kids pet also.
