    It made me laugh when they confiscated the air guns on the river bank and he said, "these guns could be deadly". I should hope so, no point going otherwise!

    Only a chance breeding of a couple of pets really, but it worked as the offspring turned out really well.

    Mine would be my first lurcher. She died in her prime, (hit by a car). I was only 12/13 when I had her but I remember her been a good hunter and she caught her first hare aged 6 months. I would like her now just to compare to the dogs I run now. She was bred the same as Stats fly and cass, for those who knows who he is.

    If you take a good lurcher ratting, it will probally get more than the terriers( round the cover crops anyway ). Well my does when I go anyway. They have better eyes and seem much more aware of what's going on. But for fun you carnt beat the terriers. Jmo

    Surely your not getting a dog for one golf course?? How many times do you think you will be lamping it before there lamp shy. I lamp a golf course but the dogs stay at home that night. The first time your dog turns on the green, by by permission. When I go with the rim fire I can get 20/30 rabbits a night. My dogs would be lucky to get 5.

    When we go lamping I play rage against the machine as it sikes the dogs up....makes them proper hard like! On the way back they chill to bob marley...stops them fighting in the back....... Oh and the ferrets also like the music off watership down!!!

    I've found milky does in January, but obviously not as many as in the summer. They are classed as there fittest then as the males are not breeding, the females are not carrying young, the young ones have grown up and also most are used to what a dog looks like! This in general makes the hares run at there best. Jmo

    The mother to my pup is out of lucky and she is no jacker. Dogs that box hares run with there heads up.

    My mate had a bull terrier last year that died from a rat bite. It was vaccinated but that had no effect.

    I use the red tips, at £8.50 a box. I don't like the blue tips though. People say there the same but not through my rifle there not.
