  1. I think now that Cheal is not on TRT he is not the same fighter. I can see him getting knocked out tonight. As for his comments I think there hilarious, especially when he said, " I'd never wrap my legs around another mans head and feel good about it" lol
  2. I've offen ran 2 dogs, purely because it can be a pain leaving one at home, but it does bugger up retrieving up. Should be ok this coming season though as the old dog is retired now so I'll be running the young one solo.
  3. Another thing to think about is will your dogs share a large Ben or will you need seperate ones. My old dog is a grumpy bugger and won't share so I built partitions about 600mm height to give them there own space.
  4. Most dogs will do both, but the fact is, most coursing lads live for coursing and lamping is just something extra, so why would they risk a days coursing by injuring there dog by lamping a few days previous. Also it depends on what there lamping. Short dashes after rabbits are usually not the problem.
  5. I'm addicted lol... Makes me laugh out loud!!
  6. My garage section is the whole width of the garage which is about 12 foot by about 5/6 foot out. The sleeping boxes are raised and are about 3 1/2 foot square. This leaves a walk way of about 2 1/2 foot which is great for cleaning them out and such like, but as I've said the young dog pisses all over the floor and not the run floor outside. I'm going to make it much smaller soon, maybe even make a large sleeping box and push it up to the hole in the wall.
  7. I've got the same set up mate, but I've made the section in the garage too big. There even with raised beds there is still room which means they piss on the garage floor and not outside in the run. This makes the garage stink at times as there is no drainage in there.
  8. It would be a nightmare to take a dog lamping without a skip lead where I live. Too many badgers.!
  9. I lamp mine, but it shortens there working life. The more you work them, the sooner they retire, due to injuries. Lamping is far more risky than day time work.
  10. Maybe the Mrs should get rid of priceless..... My dog has just bit my girlfriend... Quick get the laptop out...I'm going to join the hunting life and get nominated for the most stupid post of the year award (which contains the least amount of information possible) !! Woop woop
  11. Why are people replying to this retards question???
  12. Like what's been said, I'm sure you'll do well if you aim towards the richer pet owners out there. But us lurcher folk are a tight bunch and most people shop around and find bargains. There is a guy who goes into my local butchers and buy 2 filet steaks..one for him, one for his dog. He won't feed his the free off cuts!!
  13. Well I've just gained about 1000 acers of permission. Great I thought, till I went to have a look and it's too stony to run the dogs on. All it's good for is rabbit shooting. It will keep the dogs fed but that about it. Sometimes a bit of luck helps and offen the more permission you have, the more you get. Good luck
  14. Winthorpe is between skeg and ingoldmels mate.
  15. Hey up terminator. Welcome to the hunting life mate. You'll have a laugh on here reading some of these topics that's for sure!!
  16. George... You really are a retard.
  17. Worming should be a regular thing, not a one time at band camp thing.
  18. Go to the local track and ask for Dave sheen. He's in Doncaster
  19. Probally a bit of done or some other un digested matter. Should be fine, and normally passes in the next few hours.
  20. Why should we donate?? RSPCA will foot the bill, or pdsa.
  21. Rimfires can be passed quite simple. When the land is for a centre fire, regardless of calibre the land checks are a bit more in depth.
  22. There fur feels different, more like a pet rabbit I'd say. There are getting more common every year.
