Lol. Mouching that should say. I normally do a lot more with the dogs in the summer, not hunting but longer walks etc, but this year with been busy at work, a new baby and new Rimfire permission, they have been more like pets this summer.
To be fair, I've done bugger all with my dogs this summer. They get 3 x half hour walks a day and spend the rest of the time just lazing in the garden. So this season I will have to get them fit. Ive just started biking mine this week to tone them up a bit and then come September time I'll be mouthing about most weekends. By October they should be up to full speed hopefully.
Correct simo. I'm making mine smaller as my young dog is always pissing in the inside part of the run. Mind you, some of it is in his genes or so I'm told!
My old dog did the same last week. Having a walk through a grass field in the day light, when he just froze on the spot and hackles came up. When I called him he just paced up and down real slow, like a caged lion... As though there was a line he wouldn't cross! Very strange.
It would be interesting to hear other people's views on this, and not just bull breeds but all first crosses. I've offen wondered if it matters which was round there bred.
There is nothing wrong with a good quality complete. At lot of coursing lads I know feed complete as its easy to adjust if needed and there dogs are all fit as a fiddle and are top of there game
Very nice. I'm after something similar in the future, but I fancy a bit of spaniel in the mix to hopefully aid retrieving and recall. I fancy something that bushes for the lurchers, but also something that will retrieve shot rabbits when I'm shooting with the Rimfire out of the truck.
It was when silva took the piss out of the jujitsu world champ (I forget his name) when they fought. Dana said if he pulls a stunt like that again then he would be dropped from the UFC. Fair play coz it was there first show in Abu dabi, which is a massive jujitsu country, and didn't want him disrespecting one of there idols.
If they worked for different company's then they wouldn't fight each other, as they wouldn't want to risk them loosing. And as for your Tito comment, what about Holyfield!!
IMO the UFC is now the main player in combat sports. No ducking dodging and no wanting to fight like in boxing, ( like Eubanks and Roy jones). Both world champs but never faced each other. Also there is no sport that's has rules like boxing, (especially in the armatures). You put a boxer in with a Mma fighter and he would soon realise that Mma is as close to true fighting as you can get.
Seeing as silva is the best pound for pound fighter in the world, there is probally not much he dosnt know about fighting. His coaches will be more motivation and game plan building than telling him where to plant his feet lol. I for one, will be setting my alarm and watching this fight live! Carnt wait. And as for rematches not living up to the hype, try telling Aturo Gatti and Micky Ward or Grey Maynard and Franky Edgar!! Lol
There is a 7th dan jujitsu black belt who lives near me. He's not the greatest trainer in the world, but he certainly has a few tricks up his sleeve that are worth listening too. He is a pretty decent pro boxing coach though, but very old school.
Correct lab, segal is not his coach. He just came down to gym in brazil. The same as Freddie roach is not GSP's coach, though he does take him on the pads.
