  1. I used to do it in the 90's. I used to train with malc scarboro and his wife, Lesley (who was British and eu champ). When the gym closed down I was heart broken at the time. There was only a couple of gyms in lincs at the time, the other been Lincoln (still natural born warriors). Had a few fights though and loved it.
  2. I know what you mean about the crows lol. I had plans of shooting great numbers.....till I got my gun and there wasn't a crow to seen!
  3. These probally more urban muntys near me than foxes! On Sunday we were sat in the pub watching a doe n fawn in the beer garden, before it wandered off onto the trees at the back. This pub is surrounded by an housing estate! I've also seen them at the end of my road under a street light before disappearing into someone's garden. It's probally because they have no natural predators.....until I moved in! Lol.

I read an interesting article in a health magazine a while ago, regarding top athletes being compromised by been a vegi. In a nut shell by being a vegi your missing out of nutrients that only meat can provide, and that soya and other protein substitutes carnt provide. Probally wouldn't be an issue for your average joe, but for an athlete, then yes.
  5. Too much money for it not to happen. That's why frank warren didn't try and stop the punch up when it happened. No advertising in the world will increase sale like a good pre-fight brawl. It made front page news. Even my mums heard of these guys now and she dosnt follow boxing.
  6. So it's finally on; dereck chisora vs David haye. It was bound to happen so who's your money on lads. I'm going David haye, but I think he'll have his hands full with him.
  7. Stunning pup. Keep us posted of it's progress.
  8. Outlaws are a hells angel type gang. I heard they were founded by someone who was thrown out of the HA and set they own up. You can tell an outlaw by the badge on the back of the jacket. If your into this sort of thing, get yourself to the bulldog bash in the summer. It's an eye opener for sure.
  9. I don't think he means red the lurcher. There is a pure saluki called Red.
  10. Saying that, I got the easy questions. My mate had a few tricky ones, such as scaffold railing heights. But not enough for him to fail.
  11. I did mine last week. It's so easy it's nothing to worry about.
  12. Like that set up. Very neat. My old dog is a grumpy arse, and won't share a bed with my other dog, even though they play together when out. Therefore I need separate sleeping compartments for each dog.
  13. A feathered black n tan bitch, of of lucky. She is only small, about 24" I'd say. Retired now as she's about 9.
  14. Koru, yours is out if the same litter as mine. Are you the lad from down south?
  15. There is a topic from last year about merlin n eve. Some great pics and info (especially from Optimus) with drax, red and family. Stick drax in the search box and you should find it. Cheers
  16. Merlin and eve was a while ago, but there offspring produced the goods, and so did there offspring and so on. These dogs arnt 1st or 2nd cross's. There hare killers to hare killers, so you pretty much know how the pups will turn out, as opposed to say a 1st x collie / greyhound. The pups couldn't be any different from there parents if they tried.
  17. I should say Red is one of the closest to merlin and eve, but I don't know much about other dogs out of merlin eve stuff. Just going off what I've been told.
  18. Stick drax n Sally in you tube. There is some on there.
  19. I think there all pretty quick kayal. Most look more like the greyhound than the saluki.
  20. My mate has a dog out of max. Kills 3 n 4 regular.
  21. Ive only got an I phone so don't know how to upload photos. I'll try get the hunting life as an app as I might let me put pictures on straight from my phone, ( like the eBay app ).
  22. I've a young dog out of red here. Showing promise and seems to be following the drax / red running style.
  23. There are dogs out there that take all game, for which they can be called an all rounder. But as for excelling at the different tasks then no as the perfect examples in each type of lurcher/quarry are so different. I've seen dogs which you can take out and they will catch a hare, but you enter it in a match would be silly. The same dog will kill foxes, but to ask it to do 3 a night, 2 or 3 times a week wouldn't be fare. And again it will go ferreting and do a pretty decent job. Probally a jack of all trades, master of none.
