  1. Your not part of the forever living team are you Tomo?
  2. Dosnt the old wife's tale, say the speed should be on the top? In that case the dam would be the deerhound. There lies the problem as not many deerhound owners would breed there pedigree bitch to produce lurchers?
  3. We get about one stupid topic a day now. I bet this one is today's most stupid and its only 7am!!
  4. Try coursing it with one of those extendable leads. That way it will always come back after a long course without hunting up after. Just becareful if its running through trees as it will have to come back the same way it went in. Good luck
  5. One of mine had something similar a few years back and he made a full recovery. I gave mine, recharge, tinned tomatoes and plenty of read meat. For the first week, then just kept him on a lead for a few weeks after. Good luck mate.
  6. Jigsaw, I like the sound of your planned mating. I was thinking if something similar myself, as I've got a nice saluki/greyhound dog, and I'm doing less retrieving hares and more lamping and mouching, so I thought about adding his qualities to a good deer/grey bitch. It's only a pipe dream but maybe in the future?
  7. Is that a dropped deer, as it looks like the desert and I couldn't imagine a gazelle or what ever it is living in such barren places?
  8. They look cracking. Do you find much difference between the dam and sire when there working?
  9. Big ears has a couple that he uses for bushing. From what I've seen on here they retrieve from water too.
  10. You could be out for a while mate. If you was in the states they would operate on it.
  11. Nice one mate. Are you still fighting?
  12. Your taking it a bit personal. I don't get why someone should get a free house and council tax when they are fully fit to work. So going back to my first post, I think on the whole the tax is a good thing. Why should someone who gets a free house, have a spare bedroom?? It's free so stop moaning lol
  13. Yea I'd be out of a job, ... But not for long. I'm not that way inclined.
  14. What the government are trying to do, is make it harder for people to live of the state. It will affect some genuine people, but too many people don't work because they don't need too. They are also bringing in the over 18 year old child tax too.
  15. Some refuse, but in my job I'm never in the house long enought to worry about it. We carnt refuse too much as we took the job knowing what it would entail. I'm quite thick skinned but I've called social services a few times when kids are involved. On the plus side, it pays more than contracting. I've i offended anyone, then I apologise but I only seem the worst cases 8 out 10 times.
  16. Correct dewi, the decent ones look after there homes. I change smashed sockets every day... How the hell do you smash a socket unless you kick it.
  17. Yes mate. It dosnt affect over 65's
