  1. Nice one stig. What was your time for London, can you remember?
  2. I've seen a flyer for tough mudder!! It's looks mental.
  3. Well when it happened to me it wasn't. I was walking my dogs and two dogs, a bull mastive and and bull dog had escaped and attracted my two dogs, the police wouldn't come out. They said unless a person is injuried its not a police matter. I asked my mate who is an inspector the next day, and he confirmed this.
  4. Did anyone put there name down this week. I have but I won't find out till October if I've been selected or not. It would be good to hear if any other members have put their name down, or ran it in the past.
  5. Why did the police get involved? It's not a police matter unless a person got bit?
  6. I don't know about the warrior diet, but intermittent fasting can be very effective. I know a few people on it, and they swear by it. Basically, you eat 2500 cal a day, five days a week. The other 2 days ( non concecutive) you eat 600 cals. It's shocks your body and the weight fall off, and in your head, your only dieting 2 days a week. For women in 2000/500 cals.
  7. A mate told me today, that side entry are best on the floor and top entry are best raised of the floor.
  8. The trap I've got has 1 side and one top entry. I'll make a larger one with 2 top entry and lift it off the ground.
  9. Cheers mate. I'm going to build a bigger one this week as a crow trap, then put a magpie in the smaller one and see how I get on.
  10. I caught my first crow today in my new trap, but the call bird has escaped some how. I've now altered the lid to make it more secure, but I think it was released rather than escaped. My question is, can I use the captured crow as a call bird or does it need to be from a different area to be effective?
  11. They look effective. Do you prefer them to snares or are they for different situations?
  12. Hi, can these be used for crows ? Do they need altering to make them effective and any tips would be appreciated. I've got a few problem crows around an ornamental duck pond. Cheers.
  13. This is a great post. Enjoyed reading it. Nice dogs too.
  14. Looks good terrain jig. What sort of deer are they?
  15. If you feed too many rabbits, your dogs might look a bit on the skinny side after a while. I feed mine rabbit about twice a week.
  16. Also, did you know Jim Greenswoods old bitch, which he won the NLRC field trials with, was rescued in a similar manor to yours! Rescue dogs can be very loyal and obedient, as I had one and he was a fantastic family lurcher.
  17. The mods should pin a topic up, where you can put weekly pictures up. It would be great to see her progress. She could be THL mascot for the summer.
  18. If your looking for pups now, and planning a litter next year,,,are you mating two, 12 month old pups then??
  19. The farm I go on let's me run them. The landowner is called staples and the fields he owns with the best hares on, and no overlooking farmhouses are the fields just down the a17 at east heckington. He locks the gate to the stone road way, which leads down to some barns which I park in, but he leaves the key under a log next to the gate. He normally lets me go at a weekend as him and his game keeper go salmon fishing at week ends so sent there. I'm lucky to have this permission to myself as he would let anyone go if they dress smart, but thankfully nobody thinks to ask him. Roll on next season,
  20. Fook having dogs in the house.....I've got cream carpets!! Lol
  21. The BBC program is the better one. Much more detail into their lives
  22. He's a big lump is young fury, but he will soon get exposed keeping his hands that low.
