  1. Do you know how your first cross greyhound/bull/whippet was bred.
  2. I like how they train the wolf to run towards the camera man. Very well trained!
  3. Good luck with the litter. Have you got any pics of the bitch, before she was in pup?
  4. Dog will win, much quicker take off and faster on the turns. Mind you, I've only been ferreting with a Harris and not a gos.
  5. That's above me on an iPhone mate. If anyone is local feel free to come take a look.
  6. Cheers mate. I no longer need it, but I probally won't be able to give it away as, all my friends who have ferrets, have hutches already and who want to travel for a ferret hutch? Hopefully someone local might see the add, and they've got them selves a decent hutch.
  7. Double tier ferret hutch. 5' x 4' x 2'. Free for collection. Good condition. Skegness area.
  8. My dog is from Len. Best dog I've had by far, but the guys is a dog dealer, through and through. As to how my dog is bred, who knows? What he told me and what is in him could be 2 different things.
  9. Most descent bred coursing dogs go for about £250/£300 a pup. Forley winners are about the £500-£1000 mark.
  10. A lad I know had a pure saluki bitch out of Kahn jihad. He bred a litter of pures and struggled to get £200. In fact I think the last went for £150. He then banged a poodle over her and sold every pup for £450.
  11. It's got f**k all to do with the working lurcher. It's like all these saying the terrier is f****d by kc stuff. Is it bollox. If you decide to buy a show dog and not a working dog, that's your tuff shit. No one makes you use kc dogs as stud.
  12. The game is only f****d if people buy them instead of there preferred cross. It's the people buying them that's f****d it, not the breeders.
  13. Ideation, yours sounds a similar set up to mine with the sleeping area inside the garage. First tip is don't make the sleeping box too big. If they can jump of there bed and walk around inside the garage, they will probally piss on the garage floor instead if going outside into the run, especially in winter. Also I wire the heat lamp through a thermostat too. Saves on electric and stops the dogs cooking. I wouldn't worry too much about insulation the sleeping boxes, as your gonna have a hole in the wall into the run open 24/7. It's a bit like insulation your walls but leaving the door open. Go
  14. I'm the same as Mike. My mrs won't have fook all to do with my dogs. Won't feed them, walk them or even stroke them! Miserable bitch lol
  15. I don't really think you'll get the answer your looking for. You want a up and at em type dog, and a dog that runs cunning by cutting off its route. That's 2 different running styles in one dog. It would be easier to keep the dog you've got and get some different permission lol
  16. Dog kennels direct. Deliver to your door. Just ordered 2 last week.
  17. Some dogs have the knack of killing. Some don't. I had a saluki grey that would catch plenty of deer, but they always seemed to still be alive when I got there. Another dog I owned, always seemed to have killed them by the time I had got there. It's not really something you can train them!
  18. She looks a cracker penny. The thing I like about your airdale is that it also has the ability to kill any vermin that it stumbles across. I really fancy a spaniel for bushing, and also retrieving as I do a bit of shooting, not game but Rimfire and rough shooting. But I offen wonder how a spaniel would react if it bumped into a fox in cover and got bit?
  19. Good luck with them. How come they won't make big land pups? I thought tazi were coursing dogs? Do they have good noses on them?
  20. Stig, what's the skegness six?? That's where I live.
  21. That's brilliant stig. Nice one. I'm just hoping to finish lol. I'm doing a couple of 10k this year and maybe a few halfs. I've put my name down for a triathlon too. No fast times though, just trying to get fit really.
