    true Dave , most mid- large dogs , finish height 10-11 months , weight can take up to 2 years or bit more . my bullmastiffs i had and bred , there simlar size in height s ridgeback,or should be ? , that 25in bitch on average , dogs 27in bullmastiffs weight form them bitchs, 80lb - 90 lb, dogs 130lb , ridgebacks prob 80- 100lb there abouts. Buck my 1x gsd x grey got height by 10 months 28in , but took good 2 years to hit 90 lb , his shape changed totally at 18 months , then he found his legs , good pace and clearing 5bar gates she looking well mate .

  7. fair point mate, yeh its a business and try to make it pay, and poxy rabbit getting caught etc dont help your job. ive never really liked running a lurcher through sheep , because few times ive been after a fox, and the bloody fox is slinking about by the bloody sheep, so the dog carnt get proper run, what happen the got in the way when me dog tried to make a strike. i try if i can keep calling the fox away from the sheep as much as i can , hold him back , then try a slip, hopefully , we not far from the next field . ok the fox might double back to the field, or make a run to the other field,

Just like to show the dogs, few sheep once in a while, both are sound with stock, but with lambs, it never hurts to show a few, and as Buck bumps In to far more stuff than old Bryn does, it good thing.   14. Well. Went to the shops today for my paper few other things milk/bread,only me as customer with gloves on, and face covered must have Been 30 odd people shopping going in and out.   16. make sense that, alot of the pit dogs weren't over big , Richard strattion books , what ive got always says the best ones were 30 -50 lb , and the pit men didnt like to keep big dogs in the old days, a 45lb pit was a hand full he said never mind a 60lb one lol
