    Spot on, my 1xcollie grey is 9months is 24ins, maybe 1/2in but thats it now. Ive had bullxs grow till 13months old, with lurchers its whats in the x BIRD

    JOIN the club, ive had mine for 30years, i had to finish work 6years ago. As you say once a bad back always a bad back . Iam 55 now, i try to keep on going with it , but it gets very hard at times. Bryn might be my last lurcher, if i ever did get another one , i will go for a whippet something more easy to handle for the future. BIRD

    Its not just the height, its the weight as well. A 24ins 55lb dog , should take all game. As long as the dog is agile, from a 21 to 27ins as long as the dog is [balanced] not to heavy it will catch. BIRD

    All dogs dig, go round any farm and see how alot of collies live. They sleep any feckin were, under tractors, under edges, they are a tough old dog. chain him to a kennal, that will stop him from diggin all over the place. BIRD

    Get your a rope lead with a togle on it, i think thats what they call it. Ive had them for 30 years for all my lurchers ,from 75lb bullxs to 20lb hard blood whippets. Ive had them on a rope lead with a 70lb bullx, when a feckin cat got up held it great mind you it pulled my feckin arm out of its socket nearly . BIRD

    Get your self a [ CAGE] , put it in there. Let the other dogs come to it in there own time. It could take a month or longer, so just keep the pup safe till the other dogs accept it. I had a old bitch [ lurcher] and she was a fecker with pups, once i had a bullx pup and it took 5 weeks before the old bitch would even look at it. But one she liked them, she was fine . BIRD

    NO, you cannot shoot them just because of noise and a bit of crap on a lawn , try and understand the "TERMS" of the genral licence public health is on the general licence and would be covered by removing them to prevent them shitting on lawns where children play! or people eat picnics etc...... Thats the way i read it. Spot on, you can take em. On the ground i go ive been asked to do them, they have sheep+cattle and lambs now, so the owner wants them off its just pest control. BIRD

    I always found bullmastiff's sharper guardog, than a mastiff.? Thats why keepers used them in the old days. Alot of keepers use G.S.D or Rotties , i think that say's it all today?? BIRD

    Bright lights set mine of, when i was younger i had a lot. Now i am 55 not so bad, when i do have attack, i get stars in my vison and feel very sick. I have to go to bed in total darkness, and stay there for about 12hours, it doesnt matter what time of the day it is.??? i hate the feckin things BIRD

    My sister had a S.P, i doint know about a working dog, but they make a good watch dog, some of the males can be big feckers. BIRD
