Thanks mate, same to you. Ive been at it 25 years with lurchers, other breeds [staffs,bull/Mastiffs, pit,] 15 years. I had a great season, over the ton rabbits+few bigger rabbits, with my young [19 months old] 1x collie grey [bryn] .Hope to do the same or Better this season. All we can hope for is that the dogs [stay Fit+Healthy]. Ray

Spot on, put a good colliex grey over one of them type's and what a cracker you would have [good feet,Stamina,Agilty,brain,] thats the way to go, catch what ever you want in the UK.

absalut cracker mate looks built for speed and power wats it like on turn hes a flying machine but not the best on the turn but on a stright he is quick A nice dog, thats what you can loose in alot of Bullxs [Agilty]. Ive had bullxs and colliexs the same height +weight[1/4 bull 3/4 grey, 1/4 collie 3/4 grey] both 26in 70lb. No differnce in the speed, but the colliex was a lot more Agile. You get the [power+Grit,] from the bull, but there is no dog more Agile than a collie, and thats why there are good at strike+pick up. cant agree with that i keep collie crosses but wouldnt

Yep , as been said could be rough in the winter in there. With alot of lurchers that dont have good+thick coats, do feel the cold as most lurchers [Dont ] have much [body-fat].. My Dog Bryn out side but as a Good thick coat.plus as a basket in his kennel,and as the yard to empty out. He is in good con+and a good coat. the kennel+run at the back

Do you know any farmers,? because thats where you want to go. A farm dog that works cattle+sheep. One with a [bold+calm] temp, as a good working dog will work 24.7 good feet, coat and Great Stamina+Agilty.

She will be fine, she should make 23-24in, spot on for rabbits. Just take your time with her, 12months old , and just a few runs.

One thing mate, its your dog and you can do what you like with it. But as been said 18 months old is still a young bitch. And when+if you get pups, some lads might not want pup from a young bitch, when you advertise your litter for sale. OK you get your pup, and stud owner as one, you could Have Big prob shiffting the rest. Another 12 months under her belt, would make alot of differnce. My dog 1x collie grey, had a good season had over Ton rabbits. and he is 19months old. But this+next season he should be a better dog at 2 1/2 .? plenty of time mate. my dog 19 months old
