  10. Thanks Mate, yes he as done really for his 1season [77] so far, not bad for a young dog. He is a good pace for a 1x collie grey, and his size 24ins 60lb he should be ok next season for any thing . Yes maybe couple season's time , you could get some 3/4 xs from nice grey bitch to him. He definitely doing well at the moment

Had a couple of nights when he struggled catching Went out last night got 7 from 10 runs i think he is getting back on track. The last catch of the night was (class_ he ran the rabbit to the edge, the rabbit ran straight through the edge to the next field (out of the beam) he caught it, jumped the ditch and retrieved it straight back to me from two fields away (class). Phobia's

FECKIN SHARKS , its if you were attacked on land, by man or beast you could fight back , with feet+fists or pick some thing up. But in the water, a shark can hit from any Angle, and you carnt see it most of the time. I am not a bad swimmer, went south Italy last year, went in the sea with the wife a couple of times, went out about 1/2 mile, but never really felt relaxed
  13. Lamping with lurchers, and having good old mooch in the day with the dog or dogs.
  14. Anybody know how he is, he was good for a laugh and knew thing or two.???
  15. P.M Skycat from of here she as a good working line of Airdale's and might be able to help you.?
  16. I would not, if you go lamping, feed them when you get back..?? Only feed a very small amount in the morning.
  17. Bad luck Mate, its a hard life for a feckin lurcher, what ever the x.
  18. collie x wont let you down ! Yes 1x collie grey, if you can get a good un
  19. A good thread for colliexs , where ever you get them from.? With any lurcher you start 1x, its where you get your collie and your greyhound from. And do line bred 1 xcollie greys really have more stamina than a straight x collie grey.?? When you think about it, with any line bred you have greyhound both sides to the pup. Now we all know greyhounds lack stamina+ agilty, compare to a collie thats why you put collie in the first place. The only running dog that can give S+A is a Saluki, andthis post is about [only] colliexgreys and where you get them from.?? My young dog was bred from a 26in 10
  20. DAY , alot of hares can get very confused in the lamp, they are hard to catch day or night, but they are alot harder in the day ive seen dogs that have been bred for daytime stuff, and they struggle in the day as well.
  21. Spot on, the slip leads are feckin GREAT,
  22. so why comment, just dont read it To lads asked about them, one from the USA, so he was told from my and other people experience of this type of lurcher.
