  1. Its the luck of the draw when you pick any lurcher pup. If [both] parents are good workers, you are in with a fighting chance with a bit of [luck]
  2. Great read mate, i would love to go there . how are the dogs bred, some look GSDxs.?
  3. Well with this team, if they [all] play well on the day. They could give [spain] a feckin run for the money. and [spain] are favourite's to win.?? They are there[now] scored most goals of all the european teams, plus 2 games in hand. Its on the day that counts, and as i said if they play like they [did] you feckin never know they [might] do it.
  4. England [5] Croatia[1] Well done lads we are on our away hope they can keep the form up. COME ON ENGLAND
  5. Hard to say with out seeing the parents, might make [22-25 in 40-55lb] with the whippet in there should keep it down a bit.?? Regards training its only a pup, just [bond]with it be its [best] mate. What ever training you do with it, keep it short and make it [game]. Dont forget most pups are still playfull up to 12months old.
  6. its been [very] bad by me , never known it this bad in [16] years hope the rabbits can recover

  9. Yes , while its your first time+dog so you want the best chance for your dog. When you do go out you want the edgerow to you back, but this is where it can go wrong sometimes unless you know the ground.?? If you know where the rabbits might run [great], if not [try] to get as close to the rabbit as you can.because which way the rabbit try to run your dog can cut it off and put a strike in quick. Do the same with squatters. And dont give it to many runs to start with.? Its sounds harder om the[ NET] but out there its alot easier. Try what ive said, ive been at it [25] years and ive done ok how
  10. would not think it will more than 26-27in, as both breeds are not that tall. Weight 100-140lb the bordeaux should keep the weight down abit, from the neo.?
  11. A mate had a saliukxgrey xcolliexgrey in the 's, it was 27in 70lb [male] it was spot on all game.Took foxes, hares, and good on rabbits day+night. A real good x for all game
  12. Shoot the fecker, it wont do any good on here. you can keep it for mice its agood thing mate, keep it like it is.
  13. They can catch, but will loose agilty on the turn. Its not so much [height] its the[ weight] where they loose out. Ive seen 27-29in dogs catch rabbits, but most were [60-70lb], and agile with it. most quarry in the UK can it speed of 30-40mph, so you need a agile dog.And its not the height the prob, its the weight.
  14. Seen i/4 collie x 3/4 grey run day+night, and you get more speed 1/4 collie and will tackle anything. 1x collie xgrey, make brill daytime [mooching+ferret dogs] ok in the lamp. Some will tackle anything some wont[red coat's] ?? Ive had a 3/8 collie 5/8 grey, good on rabbits+red coats, not to good big rabbits but had a couple in the lamp. Got a 1x collie grey now 24in 60lb, good on rabbits had a couple big rabbits, will try him on red coats this season . Here is my 1x collie grey, and my old 3/8 collie 5/8 grey that i had in the late 80s he was 26 70lb , a tough dog tackle anything. I thin
  15. you know what they say[bigger they are the harder they fall] it dont matter big they are, kick in nuts they all they go down
  16. The only [other] people out there is other lampers, or maybe keepers.?? You more [safer] in the country, than in the town. Weekend in town more chance of getting a kicking, than any night in the country. Nothing to be frighten of,the[ night] is a lampers [friend]. 75% of the time ive lamped on my own, this year will do more with mates than ever before. hoping to get more with 2 dogs than1,run one- rest one.
