  1. just think if England win wed , and go to the finale , good god the place will be buzzing 100% , but prob wont happen , but you can live in hope, great to be English , proud of our Land,Air,Sea , people , great display by the RAF .
  2. what type work you got mate, sounds interesting being out side , i liked out door work better than stuck in factory etc .
  3. yeh sounds like it , them mals are head bangers , seen few vids and they bite anywhere not just sleeve , suppose if they went right into the bloke throat and locked on, you be fooked your dead . if any dog of 50 odd lb want to really bite you and lock on your in trouble, my big dog Buck got a feral cat the one day, it was on his head 4 feet, but he got it in the chest, killed it but would not loose it no feckin way , ok he big dog with powerful jaw i couldnt get him to loose, but thank god he soft with people and dogs, them bel mals could be very dangerous animals. but i am with you
  4. another way to look at it, is since 66 , we only been in this position 28 years ago and lost , now we may loose wed, and go home, but i got gut feeling we will win , and get to the finale , and take it from there . it our best chance to lift the cup this year, all the big teams have gone, and we played easy teams compared to England as yet .The real test starts wed , maybe the other teams are bit better, but with bit of luck and grit , you never know any thing can happen . Come on England
  5. spot on mate, i dont think i can get it out my system haha , i did speak the other day to a old bloke , who was fookin 82 lol , he got labx , and waled it every day for a hour or so , it was rescue dog it was 4 when he got it had it 2 years. i told him that i like a 1x beddy x grey when these 2 dogs of mine had died , and thought i might be to old . he said bollox , you look very fit and strong now , he said that dont leave you really, he said 30 years lamping dogs prob done that for you . you couldnt sit at home all day looking at the telly , he said when old Bryn gone , yo
  6. thats a terrible injury fora running dog mate, my old lurcher x lurcher bess had the same , it finished her 4 1/2 yeard old, she was good5 on daytime hares , and good on rabbits and foxes, she looked like brindle greyhound 25 in 55 lb , prob 90% grey and drop of whippet, and collie, i kept her 14 years till she died , she was nasty fecker with dogs cats , foxes lol
  7. i think when you been around lurchers, terriers for 30 odd years like my self , it be very hard to not continue doing so . funny thing is it been on my mind of late , i am 66 in 2 weeks, old Bryn 11 in sep , Buck 6 in august , so really in 5 years both these dogs could be dead from old age. now i be 71 then lol , now i am still fit and quite keen , still lamp Buck once a week , and mooch every day for couple hours. i have thought when them have gone should i get another lurcher , i like 1x beddy x grey make good dog not to big, and ok for bit of lamping and mooching in the day, i would
  8. no prob mate , you right with alot gsds they do have probs , you really got get e/e gsds if you want to use this breed, was it your lurcher that had the in jury, or Razz ? didnt think he had injury Max on here prob could say , but alot of greys get injured there fookin nutters at running , Raz was big grey 29in 75 lb , Buck got his size i think from him Buck 28in 86 lb
  9. yeh , it was Blaze prob my best collie x grey, good on rabbits and ok on foxes , he take them, but diffent mind set to Buck , Buck more full on than what he was, but not bad dog. he was from richard jones b/b x grey , back to 3/4 grey 1/4 collie bitch that a lad owned , so not hancock bred really . i think that what you got to do with colliexs out x to other breed drop of beddy or pit to colliex thats what go for if i ever wanted colliex type again , i like 1x beddy x grey that make great lurcher not to big and tackle most stuff , might get one in the future if i
  10. they are true, but like japs says, the east/ ezech dogs are fit animals , put one over say nice whippet grey , or small grey bitch you get some great lurchers
  11. , yeh ive heard that mate , there head bangers lol . would make good x to a lurcher though , better i think than a bel mal , similar temp suppose , but stronger type dog , Buck very docile so was his mother , couldnt live a head banger not for me more so at my age to old for that crap now haha
  12. thats fair enough mate, yeh the dam pasterns were down abit true, the reason i liked her though was good hips, strong long back , and great temp, we knew Razz Buck sire was very good mid distance greyhound , and all running dogs will norm sort out most other defects in other breeds. 2 vets told this as well, that Buck be more healthy than any pure gsd . Being honest here now , if colliex greys had the same temp as a gsd x grey , i would have stuck with them , thats not just Bryn , thats all the others ive had over the years, they lack the guts = bottle of a gsd fact . i dont
  13. and me mate , be bloody hard game , but think we just have enough to beat them. i think France will be in the finale , and prob lift the cup , but you never know we just need a bit of luck on the day, , WALKER , PICKFORD ,were Brill great game it was Come on England
  14. i see few by me , one old lady got lovely 1x whippet x grey bitch, about 23 in a cracker, it 7 year old i think, dogs of the lead but quite well behaved , then another bloke got 6 lurchers mainly deerhound type xs and small beddy type x , these donr go off the lead much. But i have deff changed my mind about about rescue lurchers , these good people give them nice home , affection , etc. if not for these type people the dogs would be put down , old Bryn who 11 just a pet now, but the old bugger still hunts in the day like he did when he was 2 year old , he could make nice rescue
  15. nice pup that, plenty of pace and wind should d well on the rabbits when bit more older .
  16. if we get passed Sweden , and Russia , i think loads will fly over to watch them in the Finale , we could make History it been long time coming deff. But as they say in football, one game at a time , me fookin guts are starting to go now lol , this and my IBS prob , be great game tonight to watch loving it .!
  17. i think all UK should support England , we need all the support / luck right now , we got hard game sat , and we could get past them , and get closer to the finale , ok we prob go out , but fook me the team doing well . and good manger and staff really trying to help the lads get there COME ON ENGLAND
  18. just out of interest do or are any Irish terriers worked to day, i know few wheaten are still worked, i seen a nice irish terrier the other day over here in England , thought maybe x back to whippet x grey bitch or small grey bitch you get nice size lurcher that have plenty of speed and guts for few charlies a good catching rabbits , just a thought the dog was about 20ins prob show stuff , but not bad looking dog and good temp, just a thought .!!
  19. just on the news Vardy be out , he carrying injury , and few others as well , it going to be very hot sat , so we be pushed to the limit , just hope we can get past them Come on England

do you think maybe they could poss try the deep sea divers long pipes and just a small mask not big heavy things , just enough to get through caves , still be to risky though , they prob loose few lads doing it . just thought any deep sea divers etc on here who might know bit more about the equipment they could use .?
  23. funny you saying hat the last bit, got to back to loose him out, if you been out in the day your self. even though my 2 are outside in kennel/run , they hold there self's till i walk to have shit and piss, even like now this last 9 days mine have been in the garden 12 hours every day, and they still wait to go out to re leave them, dont get me wrong i know i am very lucky that they never piss or shit on my property . but it gets my wife back at times , say if we gone to a wedding or just might out/meal , ie always got to get back to take to dogs out to be clean , ive been doing it now ne
