The ink comes off on the ferrets .I suppose its one way to get a silver ferret if you have a white one LOL.

Small strains of ferrets are nothing new as ferreters have been breeding these smaller ferret types for years. when got my first ferrets 40 years ago you could get them.As with all ferret size’s you should be breeding best worker to best worker to maintain or improve your ferrets working ability.That said every time you bred from your ferrets you are playing with genetic’s man has been doing this as long as he has had domestic animals. There will be some people who look at the smaller type as they did with silvers as a money thing or fad they have got to have one.That’s the way things go .

Holes in the top are not a good idea as when it rains the ferrets and shavings will get wet .

I use old coffee jars put a small fly size hole in the lid 1/4 fill with water then add a small amount of something smelly like fish or dog food i use a bit minced tripe works a treat .The jar will soon fill up with flies

Hi joeD if you go on you tube and look for gas bottle wood stove there is a lad on called DaveAI that shows you how to make them start to finish .

After watching a lad on youtube making wood burners out of old gas bottles i did some prep work, then i got my mate to weld it up, then i sprayed it up with black stove paint, it turned out ok just the job for the allotment

Dont know about a shoot day but this is a nice tasty simple soup Leek & Potatoes soup ingrediants 50g butter 1/2 onion finely slice&chop 1 garlic clove crushed or chopped 1 leek trimmed&chopped 1 potato peeled&chopped 450ml hot veg stock 2 cubes Peel&chop potato into even size chunks put the chopped onion leek &garlic in a pan with butter stir and heat till soft then put the 2 veg stock cubes in 450ml hot water and pour into pan then add potatoes add black pepper if you want bring to boil then simmer till potatoes go soft 10 or 15 mins .Then use h

Hi barnslyben really sad to hear of andys death did not know he had passed away. Andy was one of the most respected men involved with whippets .I knew andy&molly a long time i met andy when he had Wor lad & Wor Hinney . Molly sold me my first whippet one of the best whippets i ever had Highmain piper i have many good memories of andy a true gent rip mate.

Well done lads thats a great bag people can think that because there is lots of rabbit down the dales it must be easy to get big bags in some spots they could be right .but i know the farms they ran and there is some hard running on them so well done to the dogs .

Its a friday Tomo don't know how long it will go on for like but if they want you in you have to work it.Bloody doing my head in this working through the week lark lol especially when i see good bags of rabbits like yours ive still got some holls to take aswell so might get some days out.

Ive been using a plug chain or a lenth of small linked chain for donkeys years drop it inside the bottle with a bit of water and give it a good shake job done .
