I got my net rigged up on the poles today there was 70 yard of net 35 yard set got the wife to give me a hand lol some woman came past and said them nets are illegal you know lol.

A mate of mine was out ferreting with moley using his trammel nets and was very impressed with them. The rabbits were going nowhere he said .

i think about 60yd of net maybe a bit more lol it was around 15ft of net per needle i did it 15 meshes deep wish i gone 14 as it looks canny deep with the selvage on if i make any more i will go 14 meshes used 12z nylon for selvage i might use 10z if i do another i am still happy with it just need some poles now

I got this one finished this week its agouti long net twine i read some things on here about the twine so i tried a few things some worked some not someone said they had friction breaks pulling knots in so i knew to take it easy pulling knots in but still had two friction breaks no big deal knot in and away again lol .I also put the net on a pole to knit the selvage that worked well much easier i tried to space the net colour so it would be easier to sort the bag and poles out lol not sure how well its worked i will see what its like when its rigged up .

Bryson i hope your scan is good news .Whippet my heart goes out to you at this hard time. my next door neighbours little lad is fighting cancer he is not 2 yet a horrible disease that affects everyone .

Hunting lass if you really would like to have a wolfhound then go for it do your home work and wait till you find a litter that you like. some wolfhounds do get health problems but if you have done your home work you will no what expect good luck

These are the rabbit carriers i use what Tomo mentioned like a large safety pin you leg them onto the pin these ones are made from stainless a marra (Tommy the nars) at work knocked these ones up for me i might stick some on ebay to see if they sell lol.

Well done lads & dogs ferrets thats a cracking bag and what a day for the young lad to have that fog is dangerous stuff i know a few lads that have got lost on the moors in the fog beating.

yes you can cut the head off low down grind whats left to a point use 2 rubber gromits from b&q for attaching the top line a clove hitch sits between the 2 gromits and just a clove hitch for the bottom line it sits above where the club head was .
