    I like the wax paper but my dogs don't. They eat it and drag it out of the kennel. I've had them on Chopped treated straw (Nedz Bed) for the last 12 months and it keeps them toasty warm on cold nights.

    That's some mileage fella. should take picture and we could have thread about who has the highest miles on there motor but think u will win . I took a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDi estate to 200k in 3 years. I thought that was impressive. 700 is mental. Lol

    I always ice any foot injuries. Bucket of water, as much Ice as you can get your hands on and hold the foot in for a few mins at a time. Ask the vet if he/she will let you have a bottle of metacam to keep in the cupboard for future. Will save you forking out for consultation fee etc. They won't all but some will.

    Yes mate I saw him at a funeral the other week. We only spoke briefly as it wasn't really the time or place to be talking dogs but he is very happy with his bitch. Says she is doing very well. Works as well as his full spaniel and just as controllable but got that extra power and strength for retrieving shot foxes.

    I think the original plan was to breed to cocker again for 3/4 cocker 1/4 bull. But I'm sure mud will confirm, that's the fella who bred them. Personally I would look to put a hard spaniel or beagle X spaniel over my bitch. Then maybe go back to the bull after that to keep the bull blood there. But a little bull goes a long way I think and 1/4 would probably be enough.

    Yeh I would fella, this type suits me down to the ground but that doesn't necessarily mean they will suit you, your land or quarry.

    I have just read your PM mate and will try to answer your questions best I can. They are between 18 and 20 inches tts and between 45lb and 55lb. I reckon they would dispatch fox if it was legal here. They would also tackle bigger stuff too I think. But obviously I can't say for certain being in the UK. The dog gives better voice than the bitch. She only screams on rabbit if she's right up behind it whereas the dog makes a real racket when there's anything in his vicinity.     I've got a bull X cocker here. Her drive and lack of self preservation is scary. She would crash through anything to get to her quarry and doesn't care if she kills herself. It is good fun to watch but not sure I would want her mindset in the body of a running dog. Not unless my missus was a vet. Lol.

    My spaniel X will flushes rabbit, hare, fox, pheasant, wood pigeon regularly. I think most bushing dogs would given the chance. And would provide good opportunity for a rough shooter.

    She's worked herself into that shape mate. I just let her off the lead and bang loads of good grub in her. She honestly never stops wether we are out for 1 hour or 8 hours. She just keeps going and going.

    I know what I wrote, I was being sarcastic with Downsouth who was insinuating that the 1/2 can't be any good if he was crossing back i to a bull. Why do you keep trying to explain the crosses?? I know fully well the percentages. And yes lads who own 3/4 greyhounds do go back into the bull for whatever reasons. And yes some 3/4 can do anything a 1/2 can, you get that I was being pissy sunshine? I'm not into getting into a debate or argument, genuinely interested. You say there are 3/4 bulls doing anything a half cross can. Are you talking just at the business end or the full spectrum? I
