  1. What are you talking about???? I was making the point of people making opinions without knowing the dog. You don't need to tell me how crossing works and the percentages sunshine I know it.... He was trying to make out as though the 1/2 cross can't be of the right sort if you need to cross back into a bull. How can you make that statement without seeing the dog? If the lad decided he wanted a 3/4 bull for any reason then I'm not going to say otherwise. I can see what Katcum is getting at though... If the half cross bull/grey isn't doing the job well enough and needs more bull blo
  2. 3/4 pit 1/4 bull implied that the 1/4 was bull blood other than pit. So you can see where the confusion came from!
  3. Nice pics mate thanks for sharing ?

Some nice little dogs on this thread lads. Nice to see something a bit different.
  5. People always ask if the dog is a rotty. Lol. They can get in anywhere mate. Their scousers Gaz of course they can get in anywhere,Haha nice dogs , At Hahaha that's true. Now I know why my bitch came with her own crow bar and baseball bat. Lol.
  6. Definitely pros and cons to both. I've also missed my share because the lurchers have been in the cover or sniffing around the cover and not stood back waiting for the bolt. My brindle bitch has switched on this last 12 months since being around bushers more and tends to position herself well. The red bitch thinks she's a busher and is inside. Lol

  8. Just like a full spaniel from what I've seen mate. Very reliable.
  9. Yes I think you are right. Mine have only ever caught mixy rabbits ?
  10. She's a tank mate. She looks at her quarry and it vacates the premises. Lol
  11. Had the dogs out with my littleun this morning and had the best morning blanking we've ever had. Haha. Don't know how we didn't bag a couple, the busher was flushing rabbits left, right and centre but they all evaded capture. Littleun was bouncing around at one point with excitement. Just goes to show you don't always have to be catching to be having fun. Few pics...
  12. Fox dogs aren't fast enough for hares and hare dogs are cowards on teeth..... unless we're talking about Irish hares, then they're about as fast as rabbitsPlenty of hare dogs will tackle teeth Until they get bit, then they let go quicker than a hot poker In your experience ?

  14. Why would you want your missus asking on the Internet how to catch rabbits when you used to go lamping?
  15. What a strange post from a strange character.
  16. Nice pics fella and looks like youngster is doing well. Can't beat bolting to dogs.
  17. Spaniels hunt pretty close from what I've seen mate. My bull X cocker will follow a line but can also call her off with a whistle. Pretty fascinating to see her spin round on the spot even when she's in full hunting mode.
  18. Shame that is fella. Sounded like he was doing good for a youngster. You're doing right by the dog though if you haven't got time to get him out hunting every day.
  19. Yeh apparently the clown never slashed him. Just threatened with the knife and the bloke grabbed the blade. Even so it's gone a bit far when they are wandering around with 10" blades. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/14800821.Blackburn_man__lied__about_being_attacked_by_knife_wielding_clown/ Looks like some of the comments were right about him Maybe so. Doesn't make it any better that these muppets are dressing as clowns and scaring kids and women. They have been seen in my area armed with various weapons. c**ts will get more than an injured hand before long.

  21. Nothing like taking plenty of time to decide ?
  22. never heard of them,?is here another name for them.? Deutscher Wachtelhund
  23. Haha yeh mate I've posted a few pics of her in the past. She's had lurchers and ferrets around her since the day she was born and seems to love every aspect of hunting. She loves the daytime mooching with her dogs and catapult. Few more pics... She wasn't very old here... Bit more recent...
