    Morrosons

Pot noodles are on offer at sainsburys. And the jammy dodger offer ends tommorow
  2. Fook it then! I will stick to the rabbits. What you going to do Dom? Can't have that R10 and itchy fingers sitting idle.
  3. Jobs buggered then. Can't do that date neither. What about next year...?
  4. Sorry mate. That dates no good for me. I have a docs appointment. What about the 14th?
  5. Good going myles. Get that pelt off and get it dried.
  6. Wearing moleskin trousers whilst collecting a large swarm of pissed of bees. I was stung about 30 times in the same place on the same knee every time I knelt down and my trousers went tight. Another was treating a high wasp nest in a small hole in a window mullion. I couldn't use ladders as the ground below was seriously slippy decking. I opted for the duststick!!! After a successful application the nozzle got stuck in the hole and the top section was left hanging 20 ft up as the poles detached. I had to climb out through a bloody upstairs window to retreive it. Needless to say duc
  7. The crow you have caught will be fine as a call bird. Just keep it well fed and fresh watered. I have found crows not to fair too well in a Larsen. Unlike magpies. Try not to let onlooking crows see you tinkering with the trap too much and feeding your call bird. Or emptying it if you have a catch. Stick a small chain and padlock on the call bird section or put a screw in it to lock. You don't need to drive the screw home just a couple of threads will be fine. May hinder any potential anti if that is the case.
  8. Have you seen this weeks Countryman's weekly? There is a suggestion that fat/cornflake mix should be fed to rats for a few weeks out in the open to make them easier to shoot. Try explaining that to the landowner. Is that before or after whitehead has had time team in to dig a 40 ft trench to bury it in.
  9. Yes. Get the useless fecker to trap his own ferrets. If he was organised and had a bit about him there would be traps set 24/7. 365. Fenns or BG,s set on runs. Or baited cages.
  10. Good going. Looks a week made set up.
  11. Nice one darcy old chap. Just on with shooting a shed load of youngsters before I put a rake of fenns down on a job. Atb

    Quad Insurance

Not implying your a lazy fecker socks. But in all honesty could you be arsed loading your bike up for a 300 yd journey

    Quad Insurance

Good idea jack but its more down to inconvenience and laziness. I have a little over a mile to go before I can access a days worth of driving over farm land, no roads or just crossing the odd rural lane through gates. It became such a pain in the arse loading the bike on and off for the short journey it was easier to legalise it. FU was a struggle to get insured with as a new customer. Took some badgering.
  15. A bit hit and miss for me and quiet a curio at some spots. Some land the usual numbers. Other land which I usually take plenty from none! Or very few. Other spots where moles have never been. Loads! Still getting good numbers. Took over a hundred from 6 acres a few week since. The land was harrowed afterwards and it looked like it had been ploughed.
  16. Lol. I'm on it in the morning...........
  17. I set off and got sidetracked and forgot. Remembered a bit later, phone went, got sidetracked and forgot. And so the cycle continued! Feckin useless sometimes.
  18. Lol. You must know me by now. Goldfish??
  19. Looks good. Have you collared and ferruled? I can't make it out in the pic.
  20. Dropped on to a good thing there. Hope you don't too much digging. Atb
  21. Your on to a good thing there. Nice one. A thing you have to take into consideration is that most butchers only sell the saddle of the rabbit. They complain about bruised ribs, but these get discarded as all the useable meat is in the back end and along the back.
  22. £1 a bunny with puddings out is about the going rate to a game dealer. £2 - 2.50 for a bunny with puds out and clothes off to a butcher. The butchers sell them up my way for around £4.70 plus. It's ok the butcher offering you his price but make sure you negotiate and hold out for a fair price for yourself. A butcher I sell to demanded too much. FFS he wanted them fully dressing for very little money, until we had words. Your doing the hard work. And getting rid of all the crap provided you are giving un bruised and good meat. With a skinned and gutted rabbit.
  23. I can believe it. And we have 3 outfits quoting similar brass. That's why we never went ahead with coating and told them to fook off.
  24. Cheers Mick, money is in the post!! Lol. Just make sure it's not a fiver light this time. I can have a word my end if you like
