  1. hmm about a half inch to three quarts an inch from 13-15 yards out to 60 yard...with the right pellet in, yu dont need the extra from a .22 lol. suttlety prevails bare in mind though, as you get used to stuff, a heavey pellet carries a lot further..and holds a bit better (in fac turms..). I would worry about how a little .177 would behave with 30+ft/lb of power behind it.... but i'm now of the firm opinion that its the best calibre for sub 12. i think at 30fps it would be aproaching the second sonic barrier with an 8.4 grain pellet.. a little less would mean more shots per fill of
  2. Lol. Whilst your putting a tampon in your nickers to hopefully clear up your PMT. stick one in your mouth. It may dry up some of the drivel you seem to be leaking. Mods do us a favour and delete this thread and whilst your on with it get rid of this pleb too. FFS. All this because YOU took my reply completey the wrong way. Next time your let loose with a tool set and no knowlage. Toy master do a good bob the builder set.
  3. I have offered my worth and you had a hissy fit and bled in your nickers. It won't fooking weld. Knock the fooker back with a small hammer and use liquid metal to reseal the cracks and add a little strength back in to it. It won't make one iota to the performance of the gun. One. It's on the top side of the spring retaining pin. Two. It will have enough strength in the REST of the unfractured CYLINDER to hold the scope mounts. Three. Next time don't pry the end cap off with a screwdriver then fly of the handle when somebody suggests your undoings. Your not going to
  4. Sorry what do you mean HOW ON EARTH DID YOU MANAGE THAT?????? I took it apart and it was like that!it's a used gun what the hell is a smear of metal filler going to do to the pressure of a scope rail otherwise it's going to get worse. This is one of the reasons am i right, with a forum to speak to like minded people, and get help and advise not abuse! How on earth........!! You see that genuine reply as abuse is beyond me. PMT? Schizophrenia? Something's a miss................?!!
  5. Ok......................................................!!
  6. I will tell you what you f***ing plank. Stick that cylinder up your arse. Last time I offer a comment to you. Next time you take something apart WHEN you don't know what your doing. Try not to pry the end cap out with a large screwdriver. Otherwise you will split the cylinder. JUST like in the picture.
  7. It would be shit or bust if you attempted to weld it. How on earth have you managed that? I would gently try and tap it back with something similar to a toffee hammer. And I'm not joking. Anything heavier and you may knock it back too far and snap it off. Once near enough in place get some metal filler on the cracks. Or just live with it.
  8. Oh I think it did the job!!! And fair play to you.
  9. Lol. By the looks of it I would say it just about did the job
  10. Unfortunately Timmy. I don't have any thing to back up my wild claims. Happen the "attacking lambs" as you miss interpretate may be a little misguided. I have never witnessed this only them having a pick around the carcasses. As for ground nesting birds, put simply..... Farm where I grew up reasonable numbers of ground birds. Also a slowly established and growing rookery. As the rook numbers increased the ground birds declined in spring breeding pairs. Rookery removed and an increase in ground bird numbers. I say it as I see it. Not from some published study article I have read. Atb

I can't believe there are so many ant pot noodleists. I was only telling you that they were on offer!! By the time you have had a Bombay bad boy your mouth will be that numb you can eat as many tins of sardines as you want. Like them or not, you won't be able to taste feck all. I notice no negative comments on the jammy dodgers though. They are a darling! Have to be jam and not those caramel or chocolate feckers.
  12. To add. I don't think you want to too far off the councils price.
  13. I find the elgeeco squirrel cage a very good but of kit. Mounted to a fence or tree mine account for many squirrels each year. I have done away with the bird feeder and string shelled peanuts through the cage. I can't comment on the peacock type but I'm guessing it will be similar.
  14. To add. May swap for a good bipod and cash. WHY Cheers.
  15. Cobra 350 mw illuminator for sale. 3 power settings and adjustable beam from tight spot to flood. Very powerful little unit. Only used a couple of times and in excellent condition. Surplus to requirements due to my pulsar unit coming with a 940. £135 ovno posted. I'm located in keighley. W yorks.
  16. Andy that's the problem most of the time. People and nature don't mix. I have townie clients who live in spectacular rural locations. Simply bought into the country dream but can't handle the wildlife. It's all well and good boasting to the joneses about how great it is to have all this nature on your doorstep. But unmanaged or proofed out, it starts to eat your dream country cottage garden, you have to get a man in, behind closed doors. Some folk are quiet the hypocrite. Identifying the pest you are dealing with sometimes helps. Some folks can't tell the difference between rooks, crows
  17. TBH Andy, I only encounter them on the farms I work. They are as destructive as any other corvid and will take advantage of a weak lamb. They will nest rob, particularly from ground nesting birds such as the lappy and curlew. The main issue is poking holes in silage bails. Due to the large numbers they congregate in they can also cause major devistation to crops. Although not so much up my neck of the woods as we all bum sheep. Pretty much like the welsh. A combination of the above puts them on the list amongst others such as noise, droppings and abundance of numbers. I think this cov

Morton. You forget the nature of my job. They all have rats. The dirty feckers. A curry in keighley. It would take some Stella to bring me to them lows.
