They are just the prettiest little bird ever... When I was a kiddie, my grandad used to keep alsorts of parakeets, quails, canaries etc.... I would go mad if I saw one of these whilst walking home from school, as I thought one of his birds had escaped ... mum had a hard job to convince me these were actually wild birds!!!

They are thinking about introducing a sexually transmitted mite to make the females infertile, as these lot can have 5 generations a year, where as our native's have only one. So, ... they paid some peasant chinese people silly money to "stage" a barbaric fur act ... and really that doesn't happen....? Its not that I agree or disagree with any such organisation.... that wasn't my point.... my point was the backlash we get for being hunters, even though tightly legislated, is rediculous when you have this sort of thing still going on...

Never watched anything by peta before, just had this sent through by email saying "dont watch the vid, just sign the petition" ... Well I'd never sign anything I hadn't looked into, (Haven't signed it) and I'm not sure these online petitions have much clout any way. Watch half the vid and was actually shaking with how sick I felt and I'm pretty hardened (for a girl ) I just wanted to put in to perspective the sh*t that we get given for our heavily legislated sports... compared to this... doesn't come close does it.
