    Mmmm, yeah, they are bigger than the gill, she is tiny, and the father is small too (I know as it belongs to my brother) but these two boys do seem to be larger. Saying that, they are carrying lots of weight and have a full winter coat... So it might just be lots of fat n fur lol

    I don't think thats snap dragon, it look's like a wild orchid of some sort... I get marsh orchid's in my orchard, they have a black spot to their leaf and are really quite lovely. I know some are quite rare so I'd be inclined to leave them if they aren't bothering you? Toni

    She frightened the living day lights out of me getting up on this!! She made it up three times though, after loosing her balance and very clumsily falling off Wondering if she will be back tomorrow!?

    I have just caught two this morning within 12 hours of having a new call bird on site. I've had about 20 so far this year, then gave it a rest for 2 or 3 weeks and now catching the new magpies that have moved into this territory. My garden in full of song birds now after 4 years of persistent control I feed my call birds a mixture of things... house scraps, egg's, horse course mix, chicken carcass... Just remember to keep them somewhere in the shade this time of year with plenty of water, they soon perish in the heat. Happy Trapping
