  1. It seems my boy likes em still steaming  ... The pup is indoors on a tiled floor, so I dont leave the poo hanging about for more than a few seconds, as you can imagine! He goes outside loads, but still catches me out if I'm not totally aware of what he's up to. Oh well, pups for you I guess !
  2. ....... nah lol thanks for the suggestion anyway!!
  3. I had my suspicions yesterday, but this evening I caught my 12 wk old Labrador pup eating his own sh*t right after he did it    I didn't even have time to clean it up. He's not hungry either!! He's fully wormed with Panacur and otherwise really healthy.... what can I do??
  4. Depends if you want to buy new or recycle Shepp.... Security fencing is an excellent option (like the renta fence stuff), cut to fit obviously, and if you have time to ask about, you'd be suprised how much there is about thats reclaimable.... ( and I dont mean go dismanteling some in situ!! )
  5. Thanks! My bleddy thing in sports mode comes out more blurry than in normal!! very fustrating!
  6. i just put the cap off a water feeder on a pop bottle because the plastic on normall bottles seems to perish and go brittle quick. also, you no in the summer the bottle goes green quick if the cage gets a lot of sun, well the green tint in the plastic of the pop bottle seems to stop this a bit. Nice picture BB
  7. I love the last picture Can I ask what camera you are using and the specs needed to get such a crisp shot? I love taking action shot's but only have a crumby camera, that doesn't have the shutter speed needed to cope with the speed of the movements.
  8. Cracking Bigbulls ... I like this one of him too
  9. Merry Christmas everyone So here tis again! Kids are climbing the walls  , ASDA is like hell on earth and the same awful repeats are on the TV So a quick walk round the fields yesterday morning when it was just turning light, stood on the top of the hill taking a few deep breaths of crisp clean air, far from the madding crowds was a must! The dog had completed her obligatory laps, pretending she's an acomplished rabbiter and then took a moment to contimplate ...
  10. Thanks Jasper lovely hawk! I dont have alot to do with falconry although my Dad and brother keep Harris hawks. Fasinating birds, I love to photograph them. It gets me how mean that eye looks, yet everything else is so graceful and precise about them. Amazing creatures.
  11. ( @ maltenby) Thankyou Springfield, I've just aquired a black lab puppy to train for eventual retrieving dog. I have a 2 year old Ridgeback too, who's just a pet and house minder really. I've just had to rehome my ferret "Rip" ... he was supposed to be friendly for the kids, and for me to flush the rats from thier holes in my poultry garden, but the little begger was SO fiesty that only I could handle him. I had a polecat x years ago about 3 times the size of Rip, and he was great, but the little white sod has made me a bit nervy now! I love any country sports and this site has some

  14. Hi People, I've joined after hearing about the site from my l'ill brother. I've had a very varied hunting past, staring with working on Hunt yards when I left school - Horse & hound stuff, then got into lamping and shooting (12 bore) then progressed to lurcher work. I've had one outstanding bitch, who was never supposed to be used for rabbiting, but when she started bringing them home on her own at 6 months old, who was I to stop her! I'm not actively hunting at present (apart from working the lamp for my other half, popping a few rabbits on our land), but its still running through my ve
