There aren't any makeral where i fish in my boats but there are plenty of bass and i had a quick 2 hour trip trolling some lures yesterday, found out the Bass are in and boated 13 in that time. Made me get off my arse and collect our RIB from storage today and can't wait till next weekend for a trip out with the family in tow,live the dream as we only get one chance......Nice one Newkid..

I do get where your coming from Bangers and quality food is quality food ,but if you have to walk or drive that bit further to collect it then that is what needs to be done. some organic farms would welcome someone i;m sure asking to forage wild food for breeding birds due to it being safer for them,explain your case and away you'd be.I used to visit many allotments asking for food for my birds as most of the weeds they were pulling out was just what i wanted,get chatting to the allotment owners and most never use sprays or harmful shit and many a time i came away with a few gifted veg and o

That place changes every year and it's sure different to last year and this year at low tide some large area's of shingle banks have appeared and it looks good wading chucking a lure water as well as the trolling around them,looking forward to meeting up again myself mate...

We went out last sunday and spent 4 hours trolling and the only hook up smashed me to bits , but i'll give you a shout when there in in numbers and we can sort of expect to catch as such . We've a better boat now for that spot you came out to and we've bought a offshore rib to get us out on the banks where the big girls live and we have plenty of seats on that so we'll have some Bass again for your table soon mate....
