[quote name='bizz 122' .......................................make sure your terriers get on together just if there is 2 in and they are both on in different places you have to dig twice witch we have done a few times some people dont agree but thats up to them everyone has there own ways
Confirmed -A nob of the highest order.Nobody will be buying a terrier off you matey
bizz 122-What the lads are saying in their own sweet way is -ONLY ONE DOG TO GROUND YOU NOB! . .The youngster/inexsperienced terrier will learn more from single handed encounters than a lifetime of doubling up .Stronger quarry would have made you pay the price I feel .You will never know the strengths of individuals in a situation like yours and therefore will nearly always need to double up to get anywhere .If the pat' will work single handed then let it be the first of many for you .Good luck .
I know exactly how you feel mate and who do you think the worst offenders are around us -The hunts. Its a real shit thing having to tidy up behind anyone else but your doing the right thing .Hopefully you will come across the culprit some day and backfill them .
Very old school this method .Only caught the one or two at most .Time consuming to make and sometimes killed the bird by landing on its neck [experience ].Superceeded by the mesh catchers with funnel entrances .Memories all the same .Cheers .
Interesting read this and certainly sorts out what I would class as good dogmen and those that play at the game .If you are offended by this then you know what category you are in !.
Shot 2 cubs once with the .222 ,one directly behind the other, facing away eating part of a chicken . .
2 pigeons whilst decoying used to be quite regular [when I had time for such sport ]
