    Ffs lads use your tiny bit of grey matter .Who the feck allows a pup in contact with anything that might give it some fatal disease before its 12 weeks old and had second jab.Any dogs you have about the place should be jabbed and healthy anyway before introducing a pup .8 weeks and 10 weeks is the recognised time scale for jabs ,anything before is wasted as said .Cant believe theres lads out there not up to speed with this .Any vet advocating otherwise should be struck off as a quack or a phoney .

    Bream were all 4 lb plus,smallest tench 5 and biggest weighed sperately at 8.2 lb.

    If they are kennelled then cut out the bedding ,bare boards and see if theres any change .Wont harm for a while but prolonged on hard surface will give them sores .Thinking it maybe the type of bedding ,worth a try .

    Added to say apologies for the treatment of the fish ,i was very quick and wetted the ground with a bucket of water but just had to get a pic .

    Well what can i say ,red letter day .The pic dosnt do the catch justice really as theres 48 fish there lol honest .Our local lake has an inlet bay which was the only coloured part of nearly 100 acres of water so i decided on the end platform near the deep water .Set a small wagler and balled in 3 tennis ball size of groundbait which was made of one of the bream /carp type things in red and cut with crumb to bulk it up .Added sweet corn and maggots ,plumbed the depth at 41/2 ft in the parch of clear unweeded area i baited and sat on it for an hour .First bite hit was a 61/2 tench and went from

    Im guessing you are the victim of an escaped raptor of gos proportions .How often is it killing . Maybe a brood nearby in training .

    Birds of prey regardless how hungry they are ,are all restricted to what they can take by the size of their feet . Our buzzard in comparison to a Harris or redtail have small feet which when coupled to the lazy factor is why they are not widely used in falconry if at all .The red kite we now have has feet akin to a kestrel for its size therefore cannot take prey of any size and is resigned to carrion .I would be suspicious of reports of kites tackling anything tbh especially considering the amount of roadkill available .Drive between Swindon and Oxford first light and youll see what their for

    Have any of you night walkers ever seen balls of light in the grass that exists for a fraction of a second .Ive seen a few and others with me and on their own too .Usually out the corner of the eye but always mid distance ie 40 yards approx

    Would anyone have a barn owl chick for my boy this summer .His old bird recently died and hes gutted tbh .Anywhere considered but South preferrable.He wants to hand rear another as his old bird was a dream from a chick .

    I overheard a lad talking to another at the show and it seems £450 is the going rate for a show lakey where they come from . (Northern accent) Good to see a few russel types showing a bit of graft though . When im judging i ask what dogs done but i know ive been lied to .Im afraid working marks are all you can go on .
