    I was going to add that you in turn critisise Plummer but you would have to own Plummers to be in that category and not spray tanned Russels . If the pretender you write of is who i think it is then shame on you .Just because he wouldnt put you in his book that smacks of sour grapes lol.     We were ferretting over Cirencester way on an estate .We'd informed the tenent farmer whos patch we were on so no probs we thought.Mid morning we heard hounds ,headed our way in the distance but too late .Foxey runs along the edge of the spinney we are in and both lurchers we had out were off .My little rabbiter and mates bullx.Straight over a nearby road and into a valley with me red faced and blowing hard trying to catch up lol.Rows of 4x4 s parked in the valkey and hounds now closing behind .Dick Lovett was their terriermen and he appeared in his beat up landrover to enquire if the lurchers

    Hunting with the Portman ,we went to a mark in a tiny place .Hounds left to draw it right out which i was surprised at then taken back but only 20 yards .lol.I was a guest so not my place to say owt .Nets on dog in and great surprise when foxy bolts in quick time .Its shot in the net and we are suddenly surrounded by hounds fox still in net dead .The net was one of mine and unfortunately i got my watch tangled up in the mesh as i scrambled to undo it so theres me with fox high in the air at arms length and hounds getting worked up proper .Huntsmen there now red faced lol and he tries to undo

    Well thanks fòr reafirming my views Johnny .The trail may only be warm to the untrained eye but the hounds are on it . You are too sickly nice for my liking ,smacks of the wool being pulled by a con artist . If it helps im no gentleman either just a lad whos not afraid to speak his mind or let a good story ruin the truth .Name dropping is to me, a cover up to seek acceptance as is describing Mr Gripton as "our friend" when in fact he was a very private man and befriended very few proper lads .
