    I think hobbled would be better term as said .Was years ago tbh .All i remember was fowl that couldnt lift one leg for the very reason stated and in cages.Some were hooded with socks that i can say but might of been just my grandads way mind but the hobbling ive seen many times since.My dad and my grandad had a falling out so vjsits wernt that often ?

    Unless it was fully fledged and in mint condition it wont be flying yet anyway .Bird of prey fledglings are very lazy preferring to rely on parents rather than move far unless forced to by hunger .The parents wont feed a kestrel fledgling much more than 3 to 4 times a day with whole prey .Should have left alone in the first place and returned later to see if its gone .Many tawnys are picked up this way too when all they are doing is waiting for the next meal .

    20Uploads/FullSizeRender%201.jpg.html][/url] out calling roe bucks Friday eve and called this fella instead .First munty ever called in .Shot him to which he ran into a wood through a bordering hedge .Trailed him and on kneeling through the hedge i could see him lead out .Approached him and lifted him by the tail to reveal he landed on a wasps nest .Tbh ive never been afraid of them so calmly dragged my buck out onto the grass but the wasps had other ideas and i was stung 3 times before moving away a safe distance .It wasnt far off dusk so i waited to do the gralloch when they were less activ

    Years ago and i mean my earliest memory of my Grandad .He had rows of cocks in cages ,some hooded but all shackled.These cocks had a purpose .Im not advocating the same but keep one and expect it ,end of .
