We were so poor growing up I remember dad saying here son ,take this button up to auntie Kay and get her to sew a shirt on it . Life was so much simpler back then, no bloody phones ,very little tech and kids actually worked up an appetite from the outdoors instead of playing on games all day .I remember the free school meal line at school, yes they were segregated on a pink lunch ticket last sitting . I took sandwiches and that was another separate sitting ,two tables pushed out the way . Reality is , we arnt all the same regards social standing but the gap does seem to have widen

Hopefully any charitable feeding of kids would be centred around a means test and not just a hand out . Home visits to many would find money being spent on unnecessary things for people in a so called position of poverty .

In all as a company we have lost £257,000.00 of work as a result of COVID .As a director I’m not entitled to a penny of the handouts . We didn’t work for the whole of the National lockdown and are now a skeleton crew of 3 .Work is very slow in private sector at moment with everybody expecting another lockdown I think .Wages are dropping in the building industry at least here they are . Thankfully mortgage is payed and both children in good solid jobs .Its the subbies I feel sorry for having to go through a whole winter with little work ahead of them .

Munties my second favourite after sika .Wish sika would spread as fast as munties .Cant walk anywhere round me without seeing them daylight .Night time lifting .You can see why they spread so fast ,they are never still apart from sleeping .Got to within 6 foot of a sleeping buck other night with thermal .It jumped up and went straight into a stream in panic ? Chinese bit localised and can’t see them going far
