Most of the Christmas-trees we buy commercially, are coming from Denmark or Luxembourg. Cut around October and then send over. You can refresh it by cutting of the base and than watering it. You can also spray the branches with hairspray, keeps them longer on the tree. Or you could buy local, freshly cut or rooted.

I have a " Springer " Mk6 trap which I bought in the UK from a good gunshop. I checked the trap this afternoon, but no patent-number on the brass dog. So would this be a fake one? -

This is how it all started for me: Diana model 1 and a Gat air pistol, later graduated to a BSA Cadet. Buying pellets in the local hardware store. Those times are sadly gone for the kids today.

Was a really nice forum in the days. After Justin ( Fish) left and Ian (Confused) tried to keep the candle burning lots of members went away A couple of members joined the Poachers Pocket, the rest went somewhere else including this forum and Over the Gate. The PP is also almost dead, although there's a more active FB group working under the same name. Was the best forum at that time countryside related, much in the way Jack Hargreaves promoted it in his days. Really sad it went into oblivion
