    No, It's a blade handmade in the UK by Terry Knight (TK) I like his blades quite a bit, proper workmanship and affordable The Svord peasant knife is based on the same medieval style of building a folding blade. http://www.svord.com/index.php?id_category=26&controller=category But i.m.h.o Terry's knives look better!

    Thanks guys, nothing fancy, just a good stick to take along my country strolls. Had the problem with the cracks as well, filled them up with a mixture of wood-glue and sawdust. Finished it of with some coats of linseed oil and briwax. To prevent cracking the bottom I put on a brass coupling and a tungsten / steel horseshoe stud on end
