    Who cares if your dog wins or not. Its a show FFS. I honestly couldn't care if another man didn't think my dog was 'good looking', I'd happily show a dog and if it didn't win then who cares. That's not the reason we keep them.

    Basically what HPR said. You'll pick up stuff along the way. When I first started going out I had cheap boots, a pair of cheap jeans and a North Face jacket. I had a £5 army shovel with a wooden shaft that I would strap onto my back and I'd spend everyday I could mooching all the local spots happy as a pig in shit.

    Its not a case of buy all the gear and youre all of a sudden a seasoned terrierman. Get out and about with your dogs, attend a few local shows and gradually everything will fall into place if youre seen as genuine and decent. I hope you do stick at it and enjoy the game for what it is but you cant rush the job. I've seen that many lads buy all the gear and then sell it again a few month down the line that I've lost count. Feck me I know one lad that has done it about 4 times over. Buy all the gear, sell it when the next hobbie comes along and so on and so on.

    The plod were at the Welsh last year taking an unhealthy interest in the terrier show. I can't remember anyone chasing them off.

    I agree. Why anyone would take a bashed up dog to a show is beyond me. Apart from wanting peer acceptance and a pat on the back there's no other reason.

    ManUtd ManCity Liverpool Spurs This will be the year Wenger gets sacked I think, I also think Leicester and Southampton might struggle. I hope my team Newcastle come straight back up but going by last nights performance I don't hold much hope.

    Good to hear the old fell types are still working well. That red dog is a lovely stamp of a dog.

    They are fantastic George. I like the bear one and the close up of the Rottweiler, really captures the 'sad look' expression that dogs give.

    Columbo beat me to it 'Making a Murderer' is a great documentary. It's one of them that really makes you think but I suppose that's what a good documentary is about.

    I love Saluki crosses. My one and only lurcher was a half cross Saluki dog. His Sire was a pure Saluki and his Dam was a 3/4 Grey 1/4 Whippet and the dog was a good allrounder. Killed loads of daytime Deer and Hares (before the ban), never did much rabbiting with him but he did catch a few, also he didn't like foxes as a youngster but as he matured he would tackle anything.

    What annoys me is these fuckers come to our country, claim every benefit they can, get free healthcare etc etc and then have the cheek to turn on our people and ruin peoples lives by doing these terrorist acts. It can't be too long before the average British man has enough of this shit and there's some sort of civil war on the streets.

    I was of the opinion that the new chipping law would have dog catchers on every corner checking them but in my eyes nothing has changed and it was just a media frenzy about nothing.
