  1. Yes I think that's right, Pablo is Lozzer and Neil is a complete Ediot.
  2. There's 2 slightly different versions. One is for mobiles, the other for laptops. Socks that seems to be what you're getting with the iPad.
  3. Firstly you're way off the mark yet again. We live and hunt in Britain, green countryside, not an arid desert. The sand earths over here are predominantly sand, sometimes it does slip and slide but on the whole it's ok. So like I say, Lee done nothing wrong with putting his youngster into one. And secondly, I don't know Leethedog, I have no idea who he is. And from his posts on here we're from different ends of the country.
  4. I didn't think you were by your 'out of touch' responses. Lads all over Britain dig sand earths week in, week out. I don't know what sand you dig in and for which quarry. But over here in most places it doesn't run in on you and is only as dangerous as any other earth a terrier enters. Yes, of course sand can suffocate a dog but that's the game we're in I'm afraid. I've had 3 different days out when a terrier has been killed, and none were in sand.
  5. Sand is easy digging. I've dug tons of sand earths. Are you in Britain?
  6. I don't agree with that at all. I have mates that the only ground they have is in sand and soft ground. IMO I think it's one of the best things to get a youngster going, it's easy to dig through and makes minimal sound above the dog and it's quarry so doesn't spook the quarry.
  7. Come on Foxdropper. That's a very naive thing to say, especially for a well seasoned terrierman. How on earth have you come to that conclusion?
  8. What a stupid, badly timed comment to make. WTF has it being sand got to do with it? A dog can die from collapse or suffocation in any type of ground. Some legends on here
  9. Was nice to see them before you take them off AT I thought white toes was a thing of the past, but I've seen 2 black litters this Summer with white toes and a few white hairs on the chins. Nice pups
  10. Sorry to hear that Lee. Suffocated?
  11. I'm no top geneticist but I've done plenty of reading and research, and I've got to agree with Neil on this one. Buck and Breay (and maybe a few of their mates that don't get mentioned but kept the same stuff) were the ones that started with the blacks in say 50's ish?, then the next generation (Nuttall, Gould, Westmoreland, Stacey, Brightmore) . All the men mentioned, when interviewed for books etc over the years, say basically the same thing, that they got their dogs from the men mentioned or something to do with them. And I'll guarantee now for certain that if you ask any man who
  12. Good post Shane and well done. It's lovely when all the dogs are working well.
  13. No there's definitely more than there was. Every page I click on there's one at the top, one big one between the 2nd and 3rd post down on a page and then a big one at the bottom.
  14. I'm very suspicious of feeding chicken wings or legs now tbh. Greedy terriers seem to guzzle them down too fast without chewing them. I had a bitch a few year back that died in strange circumstances, I always thought it was an infection from a bad fox bite but the raw chicken bones played on my mind too. I also know of another lad that gave his dog a chicken wing and when he went back out a few hours later the dog was dead, had swallowed it without chewing and choked on it.
  15. I give chicken/tripe mince about 5 days a week. Maybe a couple of days of dry biscuit and table leftovers. Also give big knuckle bones every 2/3 weeks, keeps them occupied and is great for the teeth. Dogs have never looked so good. Hold their weight well after a good day out.
  16. I have an ad top, middle and bottom of every page I am on?
  17. I think climate change is occurring naturally. I don't believe it's anything to do with burning fossil fuels etc.
  18. Going away from the original post a little. But I always find the lads that try to buy the finished product are the ones that can't bring a dog on and get it to a good standard. Forever looking to buy the 'real deal' without actually being able to achieve it themselves. It baffles me.
  19. It's a BALLACHE! There is daft ads in the middle of posts and it's very slow. Come on Ian I'm shaking for my THL fix here!
  20. No the actual owner of the dog wrote the chapter Don.
  21. One last gripe. How come there's loads of pop ups for stuff midway through threads?
  22. The daft advert at the top is wider than the actual page so when I try to sign in etc the sign in page disappears from view to the right. If that makes sense
