  1. Germany are having major problems too, and returning even the criminals seems impossible. Hopefully something comes of today's meeting in Paris, failing that , affecting a country's economy is a declaration of war, we could send in SF to irradicate smugglers , job done
  2. Not an earth dog, but had plenty of fun, my first dog , parents were for ferreting bushing ratting. 1/4 sealyham apparently..
  3. I thought that was a given... COVID stemming from a lab where they mess about with COVID....
  4. I imagine the EU have changed their stance somewhat , from punishing us on the world stage , to thwart any other countries leaving, backed by the IMF, Obama, Boe, and 99% of MEPs probably 90% of British MPs, and about 40% of the British public. Lol. To being reasonable, unity because of Putin and the realisation that we can work perfectly well together without us being ruled over by the Germans. I think if this ni deal moves forward then our joint British/euro science projects. Anyway it's all positive progress. Although it does bring disgruntled remainers out.... ?

  6. Be certain there will be plenty of plans political and media driven to take us back, cap in hand as beggars around the table, I'm not sure they realise the consequences of that action. But hopefully as our independence is normalised and accepted and European enterprises continue as they did before the EU existed, maybe the desire will wane.
  7. I'm definitely no expert lol, but dropping the weight of the dog , fitness obviously.
  8. My sleep patterns are pretty shit. Watching this, kinda blows your mind. from changing your DNA , to causing cancer .

  11. Good riddance to any anti British political movement in my view. She showed her true colours and lack of ability in reading the people, throwing rapist's in female prisons, the world has gone mad. Trying to get the courts involved in her politics back fired, salmon setting up the other party weakened snp, and placating all the ultra leftist kids has probably been her biggest mistake outside of failing with NHS , employment etc
  12. Regards the original op I have seen a massive boom/investment in UK industry. I've not seen the amount of apprenticeship schemes etc in my life time. Whether energy renewable, nuclear, defense , electric cars, Rolls-Royce, JCB etc etc. After decades of racing to the bottom and lack of training and investment we seem to be accepting the fact that you need home grown skills . The lack of foresight and planning pre/post Brexit has been pitiful. COVID obviously hampered progress, along with the usual political ineptitude and corruption, now Ukraine/Russia affecting already very limited supply chai
  13. Outside of conspiracy, I think a greater problem is polarisation of western society. Far right, far left. Quite a dated podcast but worth a look
  14. From what I gather large supermarkets buy a year in advance, so although it's proof that the UK has a vulnerability in it's food chain, I don't think it's relative to the Brexit debate, unless you wish to be continually reliant on EU produce. It has more to do with far left media/politics polarisation than a UK national crisis. Tomatoes and cucumbers, not only are they out of season, tomato farms especially during fuel/inflation cannot compete with warm climates for growing these two vegetables. I'm going for guerkins and tomato puree or jars/cans of tomatoes which are both readily available a
  15. I might be wrong but deactivation costs thousands these days so unlikely to find something and if it's been done recently they chop the gun about overly.

    Fasting...

Well having a little go , been on keto for four weeks, lost just over a stone, I've been fasting for the last 40 hrs, probably break it tonight with some healthy keto grub. I've been watching a fair few podcasts and read a few articles , it's all interesting stuff, and the keto suits me.

    Fecking London

I find it hard to believe, it'll be Albanian, russian , Turks , African, asian . They moved most Londoners out in my old man's youth back in the 50s and 60s .....
  18. Presumably it'll go back to the grid to be allocated to those who can't pay their bills....
  19. Good stuff, should be more of it, especially from large corps . Unfortunately government seems to bail them out , whether grants or tax relief anything with taxpayer written on it has the arse teared out of it as a given.

  21. Yep I've been knee deep more than my share.... It's amazing scenery mate, just think we've had an exceptional couple of years and the south west got clobbered but I think it'll subside a little so changing laws at this time is purely opportunistic.
