  5. Organise a squirrel shoot drey poking , it'll knock a hole in them and then it's a case of building secure stone or log trap tunnels with indicators to show from afar if it's been set off. Those tree tube gas ones look the bomb if you've no red squirrels I think they're self setting and you get loads of kill off a charge , although might need to nail a bucket underneath else the walkers will think they've got the best squirrel hunting dogs in the country ?
  6. My lot eat it by the bucket , with cooked rhubarb or allotment fruit, I use it for sour cream alternative, garlic water bit of mayo for pittas

  11. The Russians were offered help from us/UK I believe and declined it in the interest of security , and then when the parents were at a press conference they gassed or sedated them so not to cause a scene, I can't remember the exact details but worth a Google

  18. Well as far as I can gather the failed ir35 system was brought in thanks to the likes of Amazon paying their drivers crap money and it's gonna lead to thousands of people with zero contributions or pension, not that I have a pension . Self-employed is to suit shorter contracts not full time permanent jobs like delivery driving , i know places are struggling to get people on ir35 as you're immediately hit with 40% tax and they're better off elsewhere.
  19. I think that's a good point , But you have to allow to give yourself a month off a year , pay for insurances that cover you in case of accident or sickness. I often work alongside lads on the books and they think I'm better off ... But they get holiday/sick pay/ company vehicle, hotels paid , food allowance, etc at the end of it I get a bit of freedom and don't feel I'm fully immersed in the 9/5 drag, it suits me but it's just another job really although you do escape the Communists a bit and there's some real characters in the game , it can get tiring being away , I've been lucky this last ye
  20. I'm Cis, pay an accountant £250 a year, I don't do milliage I do percentage of fuel receipts, £250 is well worth it for accounts, mine is by the book but they claim up to all the limits on minor costs, you can claim for equipment brought to the job before you were self employed and this only needs to be an estimate receipts not required, you've got three months to set up cis from when you start. It's fairly easy some companies pay grosse so be prepared to put some away or make a substantial purchase for the books, if you pay hotels etc then this goes a long way towards tax. Try and bounce arou
