    My dogs get a lot of raw rabbits, so worming is a must !! I get Drontal Plus XL from Vetmedics online at a fiver each, Just seen the same tablets in Tescos for £23.99 for two !! Cheers.

    No, it's not photoshopped, it's just an extreme example of double muscled whippet. They crop up quite regularly in non-ped Whippets; I've had two over the years, one by Red Baron out of a Greyhound bitch and one by Haymaker out of a half x grew. There is one running at my local track just now, it's litter sister is only 18lb and looks like a pedigree !!. The same dog can run well though ! They are obviously some sort of throwback or genetic mutation between the non-ped Whippet and the Greyhound ! Cheers.

    Let's be quite clear here .... I'd shoot my own dog if it was a stock worrier !!! What happened with me back then was an over "enthusiastic" keeper ! He was wrong and paid the price; but that didn't bring back my dog !! These days, things have changed drasticaly, because of laws like the hunam rights act, the right to roam act, etc. It's not like the old days when landowners could have you deported to Australia for taking a rabbit !!     Why would an adult dog be for sale just now ? Probably because it was useless last season and the owner was clearing out to bring something new in for next season !! Cheers.     Bingo! I wondered when someone else'd point that out. I didn't want to be the one to post that because i've already rattled the cage, stating Kuttas are nothing more than status symbols as their best use (fighting other dogs) can't be done legally here. They are quite often used in fighting matches at weddings out in the tribal lands of India/Pakistan/Afghanistan, even though it's supossed to be banned; Mods; please feel free to delete this pic, even though it's readily available on the internet.     I like this bitch alot Cheers guys, she is a fantastic bitch. I couldnt of hoped for a better first lurcher, she just seems to know it all!! Plummer line? Yeah she is Stormyboy out of Hobbes and Maddie Thought so. very nice. I had this bitch back in the early 70's, she reminds me of your bitch, but she had no "Plummer" strain in her; She was around 23/24" Loads of stamina, not great speed, but was a decent allrounder.     I'd love there to be "big cats" at large in the UK; just as I'd like "Nessie", "Bigfoot" and the "Yeti" to be true !! But sadly I doubt any of them exist !! I've walked the wilds of Northumberland, day and night, been out with Fox Hunts, etc, and never seen any signs, let alone seen a big cat ! But you never know ........... Cheers.

    I'd say that is SMALLER than your average Whippet dog, and looking at it's muscle definition, you should do a bit building up and training with it before you start working it. Cheers.

    I don't understand the "Ancient" part of the name ? Weren't Bully Kutta's the result of cross breeding Bull & Terrier type dogs, taken to India by Officers of the British Raj, with local breeds, back in the 1800's ? Cheers.

    As with all these laws, look at the wording; "may be" "could be" etc, etc. !! Who could prove the liability of an owner if they simply deny they ALLOWED their dog, or had any knoweldge of it stock worrying ? As I said, a good lawyer, for either side, would decide a case ! Cheers.

    I've read this thread with great interest; because back in the very early 70's a "gamekeeper" shot one of my dogs. There was no stock involved, he shot it because "it was on his land" ! Not running wild, but with me, my brother and another dog ! Now, apart from getting the hiding of his life; he was charged with, and found guilty of, unlawfully killing a dog ! He lost his job, FAC,SGC, and had a hefty fine; as well as having to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life ! Remember, this was when gun laws were far more relaxed than they are today !
