There was a pic of one on here a while back. It looked exactly what you would imagine a Border x Whippet would look like. Smart little dog. Cheers.

Did you not see all the superstars who claimed he had influenced their playing, when they were interviewed after he died ? Cheers.

Not sure if I'm reading this right; but are you saying you wouldn't give the vast majority of Lurchers kennel space, or Whippets ?? Either way, could you tell us why ? Cheers.

It appears thare are seperate qualifications in English, Scottish, and UK Law. If a Lawyer is qualified in UK Law, he/she can practice anywhere in the UK. Cheers -

I was very supprised to read this, so have looked, very briefly into it, and as far as I can see, any lawyer qualified in UK law can practise in Scotland. There appears to be many London based Lawyers relocating to Scotland as the costs of living, keeping chambers, etc in London is far higher than in Glasgow or Edinbourgh. So, as I read it; an English Lawyer, practising in England CAN represent a client in Scotland, as long as he is qualified in UK Law ! I could be wrong, as the Law is very different in many ways, between England and Scotland, but as I understand it, Mr. Rees could represent a -

Maybe you should offer to represent the guy, Baw !! You've got a way with words, and are very diplomatic !! LOL !! Cheers. -
I've owned and worked Whippets, and am a big fan of them, (and Saluki's !!LOL !!), but in the scenario you describe; it would have to be the Lurcher !! Cheers.

It's a pity the Writ of Habeus Corpus doesn't cover dogs !!!! How the hell are a "charity" allowed to take peoples property, (their dogs), and keep them for months ?? There used to be a saying in this country; "innocent 'till proven guiltty ", but in these cases the opposite seems to be true, they take and keep your dogs, and assume you are guilty, until you proove yourself innocent !! In this lads case, he seems to have a good chance, as he was found not guilty in a criminal court, although the burden of proof is less in a civil court. Cheers. -
Doe's that sometimes not result in a couple of dead old ewe's ?? Cheers.

I'm never sure what these icons mean; maybe it's better to actualy say what you mean ? Cheers.

Is this a joke, or a wind up ?? You don't have the money to travel or buy a pup in; but you want to get a greyhound bitch, and then find a bull sire and breed a litter ? How much will that cost you ? How much do you think it costs to produce and raise a litter ? Please tell me you are on a wind up !! Cheers.

Well mate, I know this is the opposite to what you asked, but.......... One Xmas My missus bought me a pair of Muckboots, a pair of good quality boot socks, a "Le Chameu" silk tie, (whith pheasant print), a pair of shooting mitts, and Lurcher book by Frank Sheardown. I think, after all these years, she knows what I like !! LOL !! Cheers.

I know off a dog that had never looked at stock at all in his life. He had ran rabbits, hare, fox and deer thru' sheep and never batted an eylid; then one day when he was around 7 or 8, he was out with another dog that ran in on a sheep, and instinct took over and he had the sheep by the throat ! He was called off before any damage was done, and never did it again.... but this just prooves that no amount of training will eradicate instinct ! Cheers.

Isn't there a rough coated variety, also ? Cheers.

Sure enough , Lee ! But I'll only remember his bonhommine and longevity on a decent TV show, just as I'll remember Queens music and videos.... rather than them having a (vastly) different view to me on other things close to my heart ! I hate anti's; but as we all know very well, every one has, and is entitled to, an opinion ! Cheers.

Me and my family, (and dogs), were in Saudi when it was anounced that 17 of the 19 bombers were Saudis !! Squeaky bum time doesn't realy cover it !!

Could only be you lot that could turn an Australian Radio show having a pop at the British Royal family, resulting in the death of an Indian nurse...... into an Old firm argument !! LOL !! Cheers.

At "big coursing events", wether it be Saluki hybrids at the Forely, or Greyhounds at the Waterloo; why would retrieving be of interest ? Surely the perfomance of the dog is paramount ? I've never heard of points being awarded for retrieving. Cheers.
