I never said I was sure of anything or regime change. I evaluated everything I know of the situation , which, like every one else commenting, is very little, and come to the conclusion that the world will be safer without Iranian state sponsored terrorism. They have the stated aim to wipe Isreal off the map, I believe Israel has the right to exist. So the choice was pretty straightforward for me ….For Israel and America, against Iran. Jew haters will always hate Jews, , that’s just the way it is. They don’t bother me either way, but to be honest, Iran scares me more th

They are already here…..The Intelligence Services have been foiling Iranian sleeper cells and arresting them. An Iranian spy, who happens to be British , has just been arrested for spying on our air base in Cyprus. Cut the head off the snake and the rest of it dies…..I don’t really care how advanced their nuclear program is, they are a fanatical state sponsoring terrorism . Cheers.

I ran that big deerhound bitch on the mountains In north Scotland and she was in her element. I ran her on bolted rabbits at Beddy Daves permission on the southern Scottish hills and she ripped a stopper off on her first run ! “ Horses for courses”, “Hounds for grounds”, as they say ! Cheers.

I’ve seen one or two of the exotics, pharaoh hound, Ibizan hound, borzoi, Afghan, etc and every owner of one has told me how good they were at hunting and racing, and every one couldn’t catch a rabbit in a ‘phone box and wouldn’t beat a whippet if given 100 yards start over 150 yards ! These would have all been show types , and I know that in Australia some of these types are used as crosses in their running dogs, but I can’t see any practical use for them here . Cheers. -
I wish I had more pics from the pre-digital days . I remember LDR taking a load of pics with a film camera of a night we had on deer and fox, I said no chemist would develop them, but he knew a chemist that would. If you tried that these days, you’d be getting an early morning knock from the police ! LOL ! Cheers.

We were there for four days. We did ferreting and lamping rabbits lower down and went up the mountains daytime for the hares, probably 2 or 3 hours each time, I didn’t keep a check on the time. It got down to below -10 degrees at times . Its right what Drover says about the heather; there was a whippet with us that was great on the rabbits, but it’s legs got cut to bits first time on the frozen heather on the hares further up the mountains. Cheers.
-
That’s exactly where you need a dog that quarters the ground and finds its own quarry. The heather was knee deep in places, and sometimes covered in a layer of frost or thin ice. Other places were scree and rocks; Hard work for man and dog. Cheers.

From what his mother told me it was open trials then after evaluating all the entries, only the ones the coaches thought had potential were invited to join the course. Is your pals son at the academy in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia ? Cheers.

For some reason there needs to be a vote in parliament ! While our politicians dither, the enemy within gets stronger…. Barry Gardiner, Labour MP, has just said the perpetrators are NOT terrorists, they are criminals, then backed down and said they MAY have committed a terrorist offence ! How in hell can you commit a terrorist offence, but NOT be a terrorist ?? Cheers.
