    NAFTA is the North American version of what the EU should be. A free trade agreement, but no customs union, no monetary union, no freedom of movement, no giving up sovereignty.     That's what they would like us to think now, but it was originally the European Coal And Steel Community, simply a trade agreement to stop them undercutting each other.     I've just said to my missus " I wish Andrew Neil's GB News would hurry up and get on line", maybe, just maybe, we will then get a news channel that gives a balanced reporting of the news.     Now, let's make it clear, I'm not an "anti-vaxxer", and I don't believe it's all a conspiracy., BUT the government don't make it easy for themselves, I've just watched a report on sky news where the NHS has advised against a government proposition that they use a mix of the various vaccines in the two shots you are supposed to have. The NHS say this in not advisable as, and I quote , " THEY MAY NOT KNOW WHAT VACCINE YOUVE BEEN GIVEN" !!!! Surely it's very easy to log on your medical records what vaccine you've had ????     Not sure where you get your figures from, but the UK has just moved from being the 5th biggest economy in the world to the 4th biggest. The pound is up against the dollar, I don't think to many wil be worried about the Swedish Krona. Why does Brexit upset you so much ? Cheers.

    They made Claire Fox a Baroness and she was a Brexit MEP, but no way will they give Farage anything......that would be admitting he was right all along. As for Blair, it's nonsense that it's stopping others getting gongs, thousands have gotten them since he finished as Prime Minister. Its just to pave the way for him becoming a Sir or a Lord. Cheers.

    I'm using "our" as in "our government and lawmakers", as against "them", the EU. It wasn't democratic for the ECJ to make laws for "us", without "us" having a say. Now we DO have a say, like we had in the referendum and the last General Election, when many, many people held their noses and voted Tory to get Brexit Done and to keep out the communist tramp. So, yes, that proved our votes DO count, and I've a feeling that the politicians, might, just might, take a bit of notice , but I won't hold my breath! ? !     I agree with you ! I have no trust in politicians, after all, the vast majority of them didn't want Brexit, and did everything in their power to reverse it when we DID vote for it ! But we won the vote, and against the odds, it has finally been completed. We showed that the people CAN change things ! It just saddens me that the die hard remainers are STILL plotting against Brexit ! Cheers.

    The point is, Wilf, WE are now making our immigration policy, not the EU. If we make a pigs ear of it, that's OUR fault. And , as you keep reminding us, if we don't like it, we can make it known with our votes........something we couldn't do when the EU was making our immigration policy. Of course it won't be perfect, but as I keep stressing, it's about sovereignty, us choosing our own destiny. Cheers.

    I'm 100% in favour of freedom of choice. If someone doesn't want the jab, they won't be forced to have it, and I respect their choice. I haven't made my mind up, but if I feel the cons outweigh the pros, then I probably won't have it. If the government or the airline or the country where my family is, say I need to have it before I can visit my grandson , who I haven't seen for over a year, then I'll have it. Thats MY freedom of choice. Cheers.

    If I have to have the vax in order to visit my grandson, I'll be pushing to the front of the queue ! After all, I didn't think twice, 40 odd years ago, about getting a whole booklet full of jabs to go to Africa, the Middle East, the Far East. I didn't think it was a government conspiracy then, and I don't now. It was necessary then to protect me and the people of the countries I was visiting and working in. A slight inconvenience, but, as allways , I had a choice. Cheers.

    The airlines and the holiday companies and places like Spain and Greece will be so desperate for travellers I can't see them imposing severe restrictions unless its forced upon them. Another blow for the Remainers, is that there's just been an agreement between the U.K. and the EU that we won't need International Driving Lisences and they will recognise our UK lisences.
